this is most common problem for 360 you can solve it by your self
first remove the xbox covering and take the disk tray and follow the video below

First I would make sure you replaced the disk drive with the previous one you had as there are several different types. If not you would have to flash the new drive to get it to read the game format. Your new drive shouldn't be making any loud noise by the way, you may have got a defective one
maybe there is something wrong with ur disk drive if so its a simple fix all u have to do is buy a new disk drive off ebay for $15 and take the xbox apart and then repalce ive had the same problem

Yes this is normally because the DVd drive is taking too much heat, to fix it you need to stop the heat build up you can do this by sending it in or using a good Xbox 360 Repair guide
In very rare instances I believe that the dvd drive of your xbox 360 might have been disconnected.In this case,it dispays an "open tray" message.For this you will have to open your 360 but please take it to the dealer if you are still protected by warranty.Good luck.Thanks for reading.
try reseting the system in the system settings this, is sometimes caused by an update not downloading and or installing correctly. once you reset to default, try updating the system on xbox live. if this continues you might have a drive issue. good luck....
