I would try other Nvidia drivers, maybe revert to an earlier driver. Don't get Nvidia drivers from MS Update, go to the Nvidia site to find drivers and suggestions.
10 long years ago its now called windows live
so if running live on XP that is not possible rigth.
are you logging in the live.com? https://login.live.com/
that? if using that, XP is not support and maybe VISTA
ask them?
in all cases ask MS this, its there system
how the manage it is there call and can change ever 6 months.
XP and its browser is dead for 3 years
now VISTA is dead, spring 2017 and that means many web sites will stop supporting it. next.
Please, try to update your msn and yahoo version: 1. check your messenger version (same procedure for each): click on help>in drop down menu click on "about ...">it shows the messenger version. 2. Go to official site of each your messengers and see if the version you've got is outdated. 3. If there is a latter version of messenger follow these steps: ---go to START button, click on Control Panel>Programs>Uninstall a Program>Windows Live Essentials and uninstall. Then go to the official site, download the latest version of Windows Live Essentials and install. ---For Yahoo Messenger follow the same procedure as above, but instead Windows Live Essentials choose Yahoo Messenger. Then go to official Yahoo download website, download the latest version of messenger and install it. 4. Restart your computer. It should work now. In case it does not work, follow the same procedure as above, but now choose your webcam and uninstall it. Then go to this link: http://download.cnet.com/Veo-Mobile-Advanced-Web-Camera/3000-18489_4-62939.html and download the driver, install it, restart the computer. It should work now.
First uninstall the drivers and then download the latest bios update for your notebook from hp.com and then restart the computer.... then install the latest updated drivers for webcam from hp.com and check this will surely work.
If not then check for quickplay driver update too.
Another thing open task manager and then go to processes and check wethere you can find the webcam running or not if yes then right click and end the task , also check for the programs that might use webcam like if you have installed yahoo or skype messenger end the program task too.
The webcam that you have is perfect.
The only thing you need to update is your webcam drivers according to Windows 7.
Once you install the latest drivers for your webcam, it will work on any messenger that is compatible with live video ability.
To get the latest driver try the link below. http://www.bioticaindia.com/vgn-fe890.html
Hope this helps and works fine for you, as it worked for many others and i am one of them.
Make sure all of your drivers are updated for the webcam and the sound card. To check the drivers go to the manufacturer's websites for each of these products. Also, make sure your yahoo messenger is updated and make sure that the Windows Live Essentials is updated to latest version. If this does not solve your problem, please let me know.

There are a number of things that can cause the camera to
freeze up the computer or the camera. First I’d check to see how much memory is
installed in the computer.It takes
additional memory to operate the camera.
Hope this helps.Bud
