My kenwood mixer will not mix, the liquidiser works ok but the mixer rotates very slowly.

It should just sit in place with a turn clockwise until locks.

Contact Kenwood on the internet for parts.

The blades inside are a left hand thread, so unscrew the nut holding the blades anti-clockwise.

Not likely to be fixed because of no parts, buy a modern one. The gears are shot and it may wind up shocking you.

It was probably a Kenwood Major - the best of the lot - if it was a wedding present. You can get one on ebay or kenwood.co.uk

Have recently inherited an old Kenwood Major A707A with same problem, contacted local electrical repair man, experienced with Kenwood mixers. He is fitting a new clutch, will cost about £30. I think its worth it. Anyone out there know where I can get Instruction Manual ?
