    Try these steps!

  1. Insert a Wii Balance Board compatible game disc in the Wii console.

  2. Use the Wii Remote to select the Disc Channel from the Wii Menu, then select "Start" to begin the game. Press the A Button to bypass the wrist strap screen.

  3. Open the small SD Card slot cover on the front of the Wii console.

  4. Remove the Battery Cover on the bottom of the Wii Balance Board.

  5. Press and release the SYNC button on the Wii Balance Board. The blue light on the board will start blinking.

  6. Press and release the red SYNC button on the Wii console while the blue light on the board is still blinking.

  7. The blue light will stop blinking and stay on steady once the syncronization is complete

When i click the button on the wiifit board to connect to the wii, it connects at a second. then loses connection and wii says it is lost. the button on the board just keeps flashing or goes off

If you haven't already tried to replace the batteries, do this (if you have, this is useful information to include in your problem description :D). If that hasn't worked, you may need to re-sync the board with your Wii.
1. Power on your Wii console (there is no need to power on your balance board at this time).
2. Open the SD card slot cover on the front face of your Wii to reveal the red Sync button on the Wii.
3. On the bottom of your balance board, remove the battery cover to reveal the red Sync button on the balance board.
4. Press the Sync button on the balance board (there is no need to keep it depressed; simply press and release). You will notice the power LED on the power button on the balance board blinking.
5. Now press (and release) the Sync button on the Wii console. After the LED stops blinking, the Sync is complete.
If this does not fix your balance board, it may need to be repaired or replaced. Contact Nintendo and provide warranty information if applicable.
Good luck!

How come my wii won't read my wii fit plus

By Wii Fit Plus, I presume you mean the Balance Board. If you take the battery cover off the balance board, you will see a small red button. On the front of the Wii unit itself, there is also a small red button. Press them both within a short amount of time to sync them together. From this point forward, they should be able to talk to each other.

My wii fit plus tell me the i have lost my connection

First, the batteries in the Balance Board could simply be dead or need to be recharged.

After ensuring the batteries are good, if it still does not communicate with the Wii, take the battery cover off the balance board, you will see a small red button. On the front of the Wii unit itself, there is also a small red button. Press them both within a short amount of time to sync them together. From this point forward, they should be able to talk to each other.

The sensor on top of the tv dosent pick up the wii fit board

Open the battery cage in the Wii Balance Board. If the light won't blink, change the batteries.

If it does, but doesn't change to a solid light, open the SD Card slot in the Wii itself. Press the red button. Then, quickly open the battery cage in the Wii Balance Board and press the red button there as well. Done. This is what's called "syncing". This method also works in the Wii Remote's battery cage.

My wii fit board won't connect with tv is the blue light suppose to stay on all the time or flash

Hi, thanks for using Fixya!
  • Open the SD card slot on the nintendo wii, open the battery panel on the wii balance board.

  • Press the two red sync buttons on the wii console and the balance board and hold for 3 seconds.

  • The blue light on the back of the wii balance board should flash for 5-10 seconds and then stay blue.

  • If this doesn't work then try changing the batteries and trying again.

If it still isn't connecting then the problem is something a proper nintendo expert will have to help fix.

Thanks, I hope I have been of assistance.

Wii Balance Board Lights won't stay on

Well - had the same problem, even got a walkthru from Nintendo Support. I was ready to pack it to ship off when, demonstrating everything I had done to a friend -- the darn thing started working again! I think what was going on was the sync was "poor" with the console -- it could sort of see the balance board but not enough to actually work. I did the red-button-on-the-board/ red-button-on-the-Wii thing (press board button then quickly press the console button) several times until it "took" solidly. Don't give up -- keep trying. Yeah their hardware/software has a bug......

My balance board won't turn on either

You have to sync it up to the Wii. Open the little compartment under the reset button. Press the little red button, and press the red sync button on the balance board. Which can be found were the batteries are placed.

Wii fit wont turn on

Have you tried to Re-sync?

1. Start the game from the disc, and wait it to run.
2. Press the sync button on the wii fit balance board.
3. Press the sync button on the wii console.

Some people say that holding the wii console sync button for 7 seconds works best.
