Owners manual

Panasonic has most of their product manuals on the product support page. For the TH-42PZ85U, see http://shop.panasonic.com/shop/model/TH-42PZ85U?t=manuals&support#tabs . Look for the Owner's Manual tab.

The direct link to the manual is http://service.us.panasonic.com/OPERMANPDF/TH42PZ85U.PDF .

I hope this helps.

My Panasonic 42 inch plasma tv randomly shuts off. when turned on it flashes 6 time pauses for 4 and flashes 6 times. Modal # is TH-42PZ85U

Check out the charts to determine the faulty part. Likely, there is a burned out component and it needs the board needs to be replaced.

Where can I buy a Panasonic TNPA5175 SC board?

I purchased one from panasonic directly. TV did power up but did return to 7 blinking lights. Must be a buffer board short that caused the SC board to fail. . Not spending another $200.

Tv

Which TV do you have? You posted this under the Viera TH-42PZ85U which does not include VieraCast (internet connection). To add the web to the TH-42PZ85U, you need to connect a Smart TV set-top box (NetGear NeoTV, a blu-ray player with the option, or a HTPC (home theater PC or an Android TV stick).

I wish that I had better news for you. If you have a different TV, please add a comment with the information. Most SmartTVs will have an ethernet port on the back with the rest of their input/output ports. Those with wi-fi networking built in still have the wired ethernet port.

Check this link to know the cost and availability of the power supply board to your TV. It will be best to replace it as card basis. The power supply regulator board is faulty.
