I believe your camera has a specific battery and battery charger? You may need to purchase a new one. Even rechargeable batteries need to be replaced after awhile. Try purchasing a new kit (battery and battery charger) and see if that works!

A much easier solution is to get a card reader. You plug the memory card in one end and the USB plug into your computer. Either windows explorer offers to open the pics for you or they appear as a removable drive in "my computer".
You need to get rid of whatever is in the internal memory. With no card in the camera, go into the menu and find "format"....follow the on-screen instructions. Then, remember that all new cards must be formatted in the camera to work properly.

This is what ontrols the flash and the rest of the camera, when these die so does the camera but these can be taken out and a new one put in, i would take it to a camera shop and have them do it for you. otherwise you just going to need to chalk it up for a new camera.
