Quit copying literaly from one use to the next.. no fading, no gray, just a blank copy, The machine functions and spits out a copy but is totaly blank. The light inside machine comes on. We changed the drum, still no copy. This machine up until now has worked flawlessly

1. your DVD blank may be rejected due to the program compatibility.
2. the DVD that is being copied was burn at a certain speed and this may have an affect on the
copy of the original.
3. the blank DVD should have the same capacity as the original or better that is if the
DVD blank has the capacity of 4.5 GB and the original is 8.5 GB then the copy has
reached it's capacity and will be ejected by the DVD burner.

can check the developer clutch

most like your nozzles are clogged up. you will need to take it into a service center.

When you changed the toner did you remove the strip on the new toner to release the toner

Make sure you remove the seal tape on the new cartridge thats why it making noise then install properly.

paper size problem .

You can take the machine off auto exposure and manually run the exposure darker using the exposure settting and + and- keys.

There are two service codes that you need to run 2801 and 2805 after you put the developer in the machine.

Press the yellow button on the copier. press 107 on the keyboard. Press and hold the clear button. Then run the service codes.

You have to run the codes first after changing the developer. You might have to replace the developer again to get the correct mixture.

did you try the 'cleaning' function yet?

try to open your fax machine ang check paper feed gear maybe 1teeth of gear is broken..or maybe your machine incountered feeding timing error.
