Make sure that when opening the control panel and "Sounds and Devices in Windows that both the inpout and output show the Lexicon and NOT the normal audio of the computer. ALso make sure the volume slider in that section is shown as being full up.

Crate GLX-212 combo. cant change DSP. repair??

The last knob on the right should give 16 different effects, are you saying the knob doesn't work at all? Is it turning smoothly? Do you hear any clicks as you turn it? Is anything plugged into the dsp socket on the back where the footswitch would go?

Yamaha Clavinova CLP-440

It sounds like you have a part overheating and failing, then cooling off and starting again. i would take it into the nearest Yamaha repair facility or contact your local authorized repair to come take a look before it goes out of warranty.

After a gig last night we tried our Marshall JCM 2000 DSL401and it had developed two noises without anything plugged in. The first is a transformer hum that I'd never noticed before and when standby is...

Likely the filter capacitors have a problem. Best to take this in for repair... it is ODD that there is noise with the standby switch is in standby... That makes no sense... In standby it appears that power is removed from the power amp high voltage so nothing should come through the speaker... Unles maybe one off the power tubes had a total meltdown which should have blown the fuse.

I have my sound banks layered. My first bank is piano on top and acoustic bass on the bottom. Last night it started to detune. When I hit the C key, the piano would play a C, but the bass bottom layer...

Sound banks does not define what keyboard you might have... HOWEVER... THINGS TO CHECK: Check if the bass MIGHT have a transpose set by mistake. Also check if pitch bend might be active... some keyboards can use a pitchbend pedal... We can't guess what brand or model keyboard you have. Batteries are NOT anything that would cause this. Remember that on a keyboard there is a LIMIT to the number of sound generators that are available and you can run out of polyphony with mass layering. The last thing might be any "effects" you have activated. It sounds like you can split this keyboard so separate transpose MAY be possible that low end is transposed while upper is not...

Hello...last night at a show, i plugged up my syst...

Hi, first get a battery and a wire to comfirm if the speakers are still working.
If the speakers work that means one of your connecting cables is bad and it needs to be replaced.

You can just do a general troubleshooting of all the cable for connecting.

Good luck.
