F8 code on my frigidare double oven after cleaning with self cleaning oven ....know this is in the lock but need to know how to fix it myself left it unpluged overnight plugged back in and its still f8 please help and thank you

cool down before it opens if you started the clean timer, f8 code, might be that its on a timer

I have the double wall ovens. The lower oven read door lock & flashed F7. Check to make sure the lock is not sticking out a bit, it is on the left side of the oven. I'm not sure if this is what the f7 fault code is, but it worked for me :)

F8 code means your door latch assy needs to be replaced. Two options:
1. Turn it off on the circuit braker
2. Replace the door latch.
It will continue to try to lock itself most likely, as door latch microswitch logic is messed up.

there is a problem with the lock for one of the doors do they both close all the way or does one hit the latch. could be bent linkage or bad switch on lock or the control board has a bad relay on it.i need a model # to help any ferther

ohhh thats not good, escpeccially with company coming, replacing the clock appox 175 for part, def wont happen by tommorow nad no you cant separate the 2 ovens both ae wired together

You should have detailed instructions in your owner's manual. Make sure you are moving the door latch (if equipped) from left to right to lock the door.
