Hi vne.... Generally there is a set screw in the handle, under where you grab hold of it. You will need an allen wrench set to find the right size for this job.

Once you have the handle off, turn off the water to this faucet. Important step.

Once the handle is off you will see the nut holding the cartridge in place. You will need the proper size wrench to get this off. Remember "right is tight and left is loose".

From www.hamatusa.com
Turn off water at supply line. Turn and remove top ring. Remove handle. Remove top half of body of faucet. Remove diverter (using large screwdriver) and replace. Replace body handle and ring.

Let me know if this works or not.

Moen kitchen faucet

Hi Steve-If the faucet is definitely getting water (making sure all the cut-off valves are open along the way), the Moen single handle faucets all use a replaceable cartridge that is available at home supply stores. This cartridge is what regulates the pressure and the temperature of the water coming out of your faucet. This is likely faulty. You'll need to close the supply valves (hot and cold) underneath your sink prior to replacing.

I'm trying to repair a leak coming from the spout. I don't know where the washer would be. Do I have to replace the whole cartridge? It doesn't seem to come apart to find the washer.

If you faucet is leaking, try this simple step to see if it will stop. First, turn the water supply line off under the sink. Next, open the valve that is leaking all the way open. Take a wrench and tighten the nut just below the faucet handle. Now turn the vale to off and open your supply line and then test the faucet again. What you are doing here is tightning the packing nut inside the faucet. Good luck.

How do I open the body of K-10430 apart to replace the valve cartridge kit that's leaking

The handle has a allen set screw loosen that until the handle comes off then the bonnet nut will unscrew revealing the bonnet cap and washer the cartridge should be under that most kohler's require a special tool to remove cartridge(turn water to faucet off prior to working on faucet, also note how everything is removed it needs to be replaced in same order especially the cartridge, also you should use plumbers grease to coat all seal when replacing everything).

Took apart Moen tub faucet to replace cartridge and could not remove old cartridge- how do you remove. It is a single handle faucet and I tried to pull straight out but something catches and prevents it...

hi, there is a lock nut that holds the cartridge in this will need to be unscrewed, if you have already done that it should only be a matter of pulling it straight out, sometimes the cartridge gets seized in the body of the tap use mutli grips or pliers to pull it out by the shaft that the handle goes on

Kitchen mixer tap has gone very hard to turn, it also makes a rubber grinding noise

Sounds like the cartridge has come apart. They are usually free from hardware stores if you take along the old busted one. The faucet comes apart with a few basic tools just make sure you turn off the water to the faucet first and don't go nuts overtightening things when you put it back together.
