Is it a constant blink, or does it blink a nummber of times in between payses? Let me know the number of blinks. Please respond to this same post so I have access to previously posted info.

I have the same problem, watching tv and the screen went blank. When we turn it back on it turns on then right back off and the red light blinks 3 times.
Blinks about 3 times every 5 secs.
I was watching TV when it just turned off. Now when I try to turn it on, the power light goes red, and then just turns off. Right now when I press power the light just blinks 3 times and then quits. Doesn't even try to turn on now. I don't have the equipment to replace a piece on the board. How much would a repair on this cost or is this something that would not require soldering?
I am having this same issue. While watching TV, it powered off then when trying to turn it back on, it flashed on for a second (with sound) then turned off with the 3 flashing red lights.
