Follow the instructions found in your manual for incline calibration first. With the safety key/magnet in, press incline up, remove the key while the numbers are changing, release the incline button then reinstall the safety key. The incline should calibrate.
If the motor moves, then stops b4 completing it's cycle, the incline sensor may be defective. The sensor is the black cap/wire coming out of the top of the motor. Make sure it is connected properly.
If the sensor is defective, you have to order the complete motor to repair the problem The sensor can be replaced without replacing the motor, but it is not available as a replacement part..

Nordictrack e7.7 incline wont lower.

Based on the symptoms you described, it's possible that your Nordictrack e7.7 elliptical may require a new motor/linear actuator assembly to fix the incline issue. However, before making any replacement, it's recommended to have a professional technician inspect and diagnose the issue to confirm the root cause and ensure the correct replacement.

What is wrong with and how can I fix the incline on my Nordictrack commercial 1750 treadmill?

This sounds as though the motor is bad, they cost around $130.00, ther is a n electronic controller that controls it, but as it is trying to raise I would think that the switch and controller are functioning. Best of luck and please post back f this helps.

My Nordictrack treadmill seems to be stuck. The incline goes up and down and I can't seem to end the problem with the programing. What do I do?

it is trying to calibrate itself, let it go the whole way up and then down without interrupting it. Then it should be fine.

Nordictrack Model A2550: Incline function!!??

this function is to give a little more intensity exercise, while helping to raise the heart rate and thus burn fat. watch it more practical as a stress test.can use the runner at a speed of 3.5 mph and an elevation of 7.5 of inclination and see good results

Incline stuck- keep going up and dopwn. Treadmill

I had the SAME problem, several times, with my NordicTrack A2250 Treadmill.
Allow it to go fully up and then fully down several times, without turning it off. IT seems to "cycle" that way 3 times and then "reboots" itself and starts working normally, again.
I had to figure this out myself... none of the suggestions I read worked.

Nordictrack apex4100i level incline will not work

Try this calibration procedure.
Turn the power switch on. Remove the safety key. Hold the Stop and Speed Up or Speed Plus buttons down then insert the safety key.
The display should show some numbers.
Press the stop key one time and the display should show some other numbers and some 00's. Press the Incline Up button and see if the Incline begins to move, if it does let it go all the way up and then all the way down, wait a few seconds after it stops, then hit the stop key 4 times. It should be calibrated. If it didn't move then the board or the incline motor is bad.
