My modem is connecting problem,it will connect after five minits it will disconnect. modem model:utstarcom-wa3002g4

I have a link about how to configure it to Always On mode with ADSL as the connection technology from the ISP.
http://www.indiabroadband.net/bsnl-broadband/4545-configuring-utstarcom-wa3002g4.html
If you are using other technology there might be difference on the settings. You can contact your ISP to find out the technology they are using which your modem connects to. You can apply for an additional IP address to improve the performance of your connection too. Make sure you have a filter on every phone line if you are sharing the phone jack with your ADSL connection. Most of time they should have done that when they install the ADSL but just in case.

My lenovo v460 (i5) seems to have a push-push sim slot installed. how can i check if the version i have has mobile broadband capability?

Hi,

Most Lenovo Computers provide Sim Slots for PC, but they are not equipped with a 3G Modem. You need to get that separately.

The description on Lenovo is 3G ready, meaning you could use it if you have additional parts installed; in this case, a Mini PCI 3g Modem

Hope this helps

My dataone WA3002G4 (BSNL) modem is not connecting to internet

This sounds like you need to set up your main gateway or WAN port settings on the datatone to match what your ISP provides? Is it possible to get suggested settings from the ISP?

LAN card not installing

u can use any brand . there's no problem in that . installation procedure is very simple. just buy a pci lan card. Insert it in the pci slot. Then switch on your computer , insert the driver cd provided with your lan card , then install the appropriate drivers.
Then, you can connect BSNL Broadband by connecting your ADSL modem with your LAN card.

Hope it helps..

Grydor.
