I have a brand new Syma model S031G model toy helicopter. I have no instruction manual. It has been charged and the lights work. My remote has new batteries. But it will not make the blades rotate. Can you assist?

Hi,
Looks like a board circuit problem. If its new, you have to return it and replace it with another one, try it before going home.
Try this, open the board, there are two trimming resistor adjustment, one for the rear motor and the other one controls the main motor, try to adjust it while your switching the remote controller to lift.
If that does not work. The little servo on the board are busted and you need to return the product!

Thanks for using Fixya!

It may just need to connect to the Helicopter.
1. MAKE SURE you have connected the 2 red connectors at the bottom of the helicopter.
2. "Connect" the remote. Do this by full throttling up the left stick, then quickly pulling it back down. Do this several times (2-5) this should work. If not it may need returned.

Still acting the same, however if I hold copter in my hand it runs great at full throttle. If I launch it , it cuts out after several seconds and crashes

Syma S032 Transmitter battery lights blinks even when Brand new Alkaine Batteries are fitted

0) Obviously, helicopter will operate best when fully charged... if charging light gets brighter when unplugged from helicopter, then it's not at full charge. Charge fully, then allow battery to cool for 10 minutes. Good batteries in remote also.
1) Power on helicopter.
2) Place on level surface and let gyroscopes sync. There is a red light inside the body (NOT the red/blue flasher in the nose) that will blink when you turn helicopter on, and will keep blinking until craft is level and stable for a few seconds, then will stop blinking.
3) Make sure left joystick is all the way down.
4) Power on remote.
5) Throttle up (left joystick) until blades move and then all the way back down.
This should get you flying. Let me know

Helicopter not flying wont take off and is vibrating badly and just spinning on the floor

make sure that you read the manual, followed all the setup instructions( how to arrange the blades, how long to charge it for the first time, etc.) , and the helicopter is on a flat surface. If the problem persists contact the store to return it or the customer service of the company.

You should see the orange LED glow when you first plug the cable in. Once you plug the heli in, the LED should go out. Once the heli is charged, the LED will come back on.

There should be a sticker near the helicopters "on off" switch that has an "A" "B" or "C" on it. Make sure the switch on the controller is set to correspond with that letter. If that isnt it, keep it for parts and buy another. These are VERY delicate toys and most break quite easily.
