I have a samsung solstice and I am having difficulty connecting my phone to my pc. I have pc studio 3 and I am having problems connecting the pc studio to my phone.

May be the firewall is blocking it to connect to your pc. set your firewall off. if that dont work reinstall pc suite. if still it don't work go for a software update to your phone.

Computers do not understand phones just because they have a compatible plug. There has to be a driver loaded on the computer, that knows about your particular brand of phone. Each one is different. Many free downloads try to sell you stuff these days.
Usually you update the phone through the menu on the phone, look through your manual to see how to update the phone.
In Menu mode, select Settings → Phone settings → PC connections → Samsung PC studio → Save. 2. Using an optional PC data cable, connect the multifunction jack on your phone to a PC. 3. Run Samsung PC Studio and copy files from the PC to the phone. Refer to the Samsung PC Studio help for more information.
According to Samsung, neither the m330 nor any CDMA phone works with PC Studio:
"Samsung does not offer a Data Kit software package
for the purpose of transferring data between the handset and a personal
computer or for using a Sprint handset as a modem for a personal computer." Unfortunately,
PC Studio is not compatible with any CDMA handset." So we're out of luck, unless someone has a hack. Anyone?
make sure that ur using the 2.0 port of ur computer
dont use front usb ports cpu. use rear ports. they are faster.
if still problem persists. try below
conect ur phone to usb. now without disturbing the connections switch off and then on the phone. now there may be chances.
samsung sofware could be corrupted due to virus on ur pc. remove all the viruses then freshly install suit
If you are using pc studio you must first check that it is set to use it.Try this first:-
1,settings-phones settings-USB settings-pc studio.
2,If not then check that your pc USB's are switched on.
Try this, I had a the same problem as you guys + found this on a web
forum. Quite a frustrating problem to have, It fixes the phone, but
after a while you have to do this over again. I am wishing I never

Unplug usb cable from phone
Type *#52828378# into phone
this comes up
1 Trace setting
2 OTA type setting
3 Serial test
4 TFS reset
select 3 serial test
this comes up
1 PPP UP
2 Serial download
3 Run TCK
Select 2 Serial download
Phone will reboot.
Once rebooted, connect usb cable and pc studio will now work.
run a live update for pc studio 3. Should fix the problem. If not, check whether when you connect the usb cable to the phone, the option selected is "PC Studio" in the phone
