The screen on my htc shows only white and if i leave it off for a few minutes it recovers some of the screen but only little lines and when i touch it the lines dissapear and its white again.When i press near the bottom some of the screen appears and i can see but most of it is thin lines.Need help what could the problem be? How can i fix it?
You can get the part at this third party HTC Repair service and there is a guide that shows you how to put in the part at HTC Repair Guide.
Just forget the support from HTC. They have very poor customer service. You paid thousands and purchased it but who cares?? I am fed up with HTC. No support, No warranty....

My 5 months old HTC Touch screen just went all white this evening . Have removed battery, sim card and flah card + press the reset button but still no screen but white with some lines. Have tried to connect it to my computer too with no success.
It is charged. I am charging it still now to try to get the screen working.
Am awaiting important SMS so a real bummer.
If anybody have a solution please indicate thanks

I seem to be having the same problem with a faded/white screen and lines. Working perfectly one moment, then it had the fuzzy screen. Pressing the screen does not minimize the problem however. Oddly enough, it seems to have gotten better over the past few hours, but it's still there. I'm hoping it goes away, but it makes me wary of if/when it will happen again.
i have the same problem. white screen and some dark lines or even spots appears on different sides of bottom part of the screen. the worst part of it that i brought my HTC Touch to "Cirma Electronics", Romanian HTC dealer and they canceled my warranty blamign me that i broke it. Phone entirelly new, barely used for 3 months, no scratched, no hits or any other accidents.
