Sansa scan disk mp3 player

I can't download songs to my mp3 player...I've tried Windows Media Player and Rhapsody...it's like my computer doesn't recognize the fact that the mp3 player is plugged into the usb port...is it my computer or the mp3 player itself?

My computer won't recognize the USB is there, and it won't recognize the CD (which is supposed to have more information) either.

Really I just want to put my CDs on the MP3 player for working out and commuting. Can this be done?

Guest - you must have Windows Vista - it's not compatible

tooth -
Either the device is bad, the pc port is bad, or the software is faulty. Try connecting to different usb port, then a usb port on a different pc with a compatible os. If still not recognized, then there is physical damage to player.

Try this: disconnect the player from the computer, turn it off, hold in the volume + button, and reconnect the player to the computer while holding the volume + button in. Keep holding the volume + button for an additional 5-50 seconds. Windows should eventually go into recovery mode and revive the player- it will pop up a window that says Found New Hardware.

How do i get ride of my music already downloaded from rashpody?

Use Windows Media Player 11 to delete those songs off of there - the Rhapsody downloads won't work after the 30-day trial has expired anyways:
To delete files from your mp3 player using Windows Media Player 10:

To delete files from your mp3 player using Windows Media Player 11:

My Directions:

1. Connect your mp3 player to the computer

2. Open Windows Media Player

3. Click on the icon of your Mp3 player on the left-hand side of the Library

4. Click on the Songs, Tracks, or other Music Folder

5. Find a song or songs that you want to delete

6. Left-click the song once to highlight it

7. Press the “Delete” button on your computer’s keyboard

Sansa rhapsody mp3 player

Your Windows Media Player may need to be updated and the player may need to be formatted. Please try these steps: 1) If you do not have it installed yet, please install the latest version of WMP10. 2) Download and install the quick fix from: http://download.microsoft.com/download/7/e/0/7e055e3f-6014-43bc-b6ff-6a90ced1d032/WindowsMedia10-KB902344-x86-INTL.exe 3) Format m250 device using the Sync mode in WMP. 4) To test, transfer songs to the player using the software for your subscription music service.

When playing my mp3 the songs that i have downloaded off my pc from a paid site, across the screen of the sansa says synchronize to continue your music subsription. the songs will not play please help me

Even though you should be able to resynchronize the files through Rhapsody in order to update the licenses on the music files, in my experience with this player, you have to go through a long, painful process:
1) Open Rhapsody
2) Connect your mp3 player to the computer
3) Delete the songs off the player itself using Windows Media Player - but make sure you still have a copy of these songs on your computer
4) Reload the Rhapsody songs

If your subscription to rhapsody expires, you will no longer be able to use the songs unless you buy them from the Rhapsody Mp3 Store.

Sansa c250 and rhapsody

I first suggest that you use Windows Media Player on transferring songs to the player. Rhapsody is a p**n in the a** when i use it to transfer songs to the player. Well back to the topic, make sure the device that you have is set to MTP when you are transferring songs to the player using rhapsody.. If it will not transfer format the player using Settings and then FORMAT if it did not work format the player in MSC mode. To do this, go to settings then to USB MODE then change it to MSC and then connect the player to the computer. After connecting the player to the computer ti will be detected as a removable disk drive. Right click on it then choose FORMAT make sure the file system is FAT32. THen after the format is done. Chnage the mode back to MTP then transfer a song using rhapsody. If all else fails using the windows mediaplayer program. Here are the instructions on using the windows media player program.

San Disk E280 8gb MP3 Player

Do not use Rhapsody. See if you can get the downloaded songs from Rhapsody to Widows Media Player or another downloading program. If you need any help update the problem.

Installing SanDisk mp3 player

The disk is not really necessary. As long as you have Windows XP / SP2 and Windows Media Player 10 or higher. The CD only contains Rhapsody / Best Buy Digital Media Store and the Sansa Media Converter. Both of which you can download from the internet. SMC http://www.sandiskthailand.com/images/SansaMediaConverter.zip Rhapsody http://www.rhapsody.com/download.jsp?=bbdms Best of Luck.
