First, I doubt that the power supply and MB are "connected", so they likely lied to you. As far as parts go, you can get them on Ebay, probably for around bucks total for the power supply and MB. This is important, Just because the model number on the TV matches the model number on the part, it doesn't mean it is the right one...the manufacturers sometimes use different boards on the same TV's. So make sure you are looking at the numbers on the boards and that they match before you buy it. Honestly though, you never know what you are getting on ebay as far as used boards and power supplies go, by the time you pay for shipping ETC you are going to be probably 150 to 200 bucks into it...and it might not work, or it might work for a while then the used parts go out as well. Best Buy has a 43" sharp LCD TV, smart, built in Roku...for 269. You might be better off to spend the extra 50 to 100 bucks and just buy a new TV, and definitely better off buying a new TV than paying some scam artist 400 bucks to fix a TV. Either way, good luck!!

open the black plastic panel and the aluminum panel which has 3 screws each in the back of the tv.
look at bottom left corner of top board. to the right of the red led light,
there's these four white small switches. turn the bottom two switches to "on" and tv should be working.
It's very simple to fix the problem to everyone.
