My mitsubishi Electric tv wd-60735 is having problems. the screen is staying blank. you can hear it fine and ive checked the cable box and so forth so i know its the tv. I also keeps turning its self off, im not sure if that has is part of the same problem or not. Also the lamp light comes on red, and last night the screen was kind of dark. So i guess I'm wondering if this is something i have to have some one come out and take care of or can I do it my self?

SOURCE: mitsubishi DLP overheating

Mitsubishi has problems with the thermal sensor going bad. They extended the warranty for several sets. The sensor is right by the lamp. Call mitsubishi and insist they do something for you. If you keep playing your set, the bulb could also be at risk. I would think your set is covered being a 62" set. Good-luck and be sure to act ASAP.

SOURCE: Mitsubishi WD-52525 52-inch DLP HDTV ywllow warning lamp light

that means your lamp it is getting to the end of its life.
sometimes even if the lamp still good the TV will send you that message because that timer is closed to 5000 hours

What you can do is open the lamp door, closed again and the tv will ask you if you replaced it the lamp, and just say yes and that sign will go away

or just simple replace the lamp. 915P020010

My WD-60735 doesn't recognize my xbox 360 in HDMI or AV. DVD player works fine in AV, Xbox works fine in HDMI and AV on another tv. Just goes to blue screen on this tv.

have you set your settings for 720p on your xbox then turn the tv on to the right input then turn the xbox on? i had that issue with a previous tv? does the lights on your xbox just spin around?

I have a green screen but I can hear the sound. Amovie plays in the dvd player but the picture is green when I try and watch the cable. Please help.

I take it your DVD is plugged into your Video in and your Cable is plugged into your RF connector or Antenna input. IF this is the case, you might have a bad RF cable. Can you run RCA cables from your Cable box to your TV? This should help with quality of picture as well as better sound. RF Connectors are old school. In todays market, they don't need to be used anymore. I don't use my RF connectors at all. I hope this helps you.

I have a mitsubishi wd-60735 tv when i turn the tv on nothing comes on only hear the volume and screen just pitch black?

Did you recently replace the lamp? If you did then it might be the new lamp. I mistakenly bought an aftermarket lamp to replace mine and it would not work consistently. Apparently if it is not an Mitsubishi original lamp it has issues, because after I replaced it with a Mitsubishi lamp it worked perfectly fine.
