I am running an Acer AMD Athlon 64X2 Dual Core Processor 4000+ 1.8GHZ 2GB RAM. Interent connection on the board is shot so have been temporarily using a USB/802 connector. SLOW AS!!! Need to keep pressing refresh as it just dies.......... I am finding it difficult to source a good reliable replacement board. Got one from overseas, supposedly QA'd and arrived with monitor section of board shot.... Any one know of a relaible dealer that when sending will send a borad that actually works OR a Slimline with a shot Drive and I will swap out the drive........ All help appreciated...... BTW I am in Sydney Australia Warren

Processor upgrade
Need to look at the motherboard specs along with the processor "Socket". It will usually be a 754 or 939 depending on what your motherboard says. I wouldn't try too fast and set yourself up for disappointment. I would upgrade the RAM before the processor.
