My samsung is not showing Colour Picture, aand when watching RF channel there is no sound.

Possible that there are issues on your cable or RF input. check and see if the COLOUR SETTINGS are chosen for the right colour system if not you can manually set the system or reset with auto tuning and auto colour detection. Since there is colour with the satelite channel-- hope it is given to the AV inputs- then the RF signal/IF processs side also needs to be checked for loss of chroma signals or processing.

Even before you run the auto program you should see a picture when entering a channel below 13 when entering the numbers in the remote. If no picture shows check the signal source the center connector may be bent.
Another possibility is selecting ant 1 or 2 make sure you are selecting the correct input the check the picture then run auto program

If you are trying to watch HD TV through the tv and you are only getting sound, it is most likely because you would need an High Definition cable box. Hope it helps

eithor the flyback just craped out or the tube went
try turning up the flyback failing that call a service tech and ask for a quote
quote cose 30-50 bucks
atleast you will know forsurre if it's worth fixing

the variation from higher channels from lower channels, few things changes eg frequency, voltage, and current.
take your tv to a w/shop and have the following
tunner voltage pulse variation on a avo meter has you change channels. if the difference of voltage is not unform when you are changing from to channel then you should change the control ic on the rf stage or check the capacitors a round the rf ic for variations in value.

If you use RF cable, need to change brand new cable.
But, before that need chck the status of cable connector.

inspect your cables your a/v cables make sure there is no breaks in the cable at all if using a rf adaptor please make sure you are on the right channel and the rf adaptor is also on the right channel.

you may need new cables and if that does not work then its something internal on the unit.

First off, scart has an auto detect feature across pin 8, HDMI does not. If you have turn your TV to the HDMI channel, and at some point turn off the HD source device you are going to get a blank screen, you have to manually turn your TV back.
In regard to whilst you are recording it sounds like you may have tuned in channels on your DVD but not your TV.
Do you have an RF aerial lead connected from the DVD output to the RF on you telly?
Do you have a sky/cable box connected to your TV via scart?
Does the DVD have DVB (digital video broadcast) if so and you have none of the above that is the problem, any tuner running off a single RF lead can only record/play 1 channel at a time. If you have no RF lead going to the TV, then the TV cannot show any terrestrial channels.
