Ryobi TP30 straight shaft line trimmer convertible - drive shaft disconnected from motor

The drive shaft (internal shaft inside the housing) was not turning when I put on a brushcutter attachment. I put it on my bench and was able to pull the shaft out of the casing. Can I fix this? Or do I need to get a new trimmer?

Check both ends of shaft, they're usually a hex or torx head. sometimes the can strip or even snap off. if you find noticable damage replace the shaft

What is oil to gas ratio for a Ryobi TP30 pull start trimmer?

The Ryobi TP30 also has the model number RY52014. This 2-cycle engine uses a 50:1 gas to oil ratio. That means that for every gallon of gasoline, you need 2.6 oz. of 2-cycle engine oil. This information is available on page 9 of the manual. Manuals Lib has the manual for the TP30 trimmer here: https://www.manualslib.com/manual/143217/Ryobi-Ry52014.html .

I hope this helps.

Automatic line advance not advancing on Ryobi 18v trimmer

I have a Ryobi Model RY28040 straight shaft line trimmer. In my case I replaced the complete String Head Assembly that includes the String Head Housing, Spring, and Spool and the string still did not advance. I then discovered that the bolt in the Spool Retainer cap (the red cap that attaches the spool to the shaft) was fused and not moving. The bolt needs to be loose inside the cap in order to allow the spool to move in and out by the spring. I loosened the bolt and fastened the spool back onto the shaft. Fired it up and bumped it a few times and the line began to advance. Turns out I probably only needed to replace the Spool Retainer rather than the String Head Assembly.

Is it possible to fit a brush cutter head to a ryobi rbc30cet line trimmer

Is it a straight shaft? If so measure the inside of the blade and fit the arbor to your trimer.

I have a Ryobi RLT 30CESA with the strimmer attachment. What do I need to fit a Brushcutter blade to it

I would not put a brushcutter blade on this unit. The curved shaft quik disconnect may not hold up to the shock torque created by the brushblade. It may damage the drive shaft since it is a curved shaft quik disconnect model. You may have to purchase a straight shaft trimmer to get that job done.

My Ryobi 132r don't work

THE MOTOR HAS PUSHED BACK INTO THE INTERNAL HOUSING. YOU CAN DISASSEMBLE THE HOUSING AND FORCE THE ELECTRIC MOTOR TO IT ORIGINAL SET UP BUT OVER TIME THE MOTOR WILL KEEP MOVING BACK. THE COOLING FAN WILL BEGIN TO GRIND ON THE HOUSING. THE PLASTIC, HOLDING THE MOTOR IN PLACE,WILL BREAK DOWN AND PUSH AWAY FROM THE ATTACHMENTS.
