Can you "price match" online prices?

In order for your local Best Buy™ store to honor a lower sale price there are some basic requirements that must first be met:

1) Best Buy™ stores are only able to price match local competitors that have a physical, brick-and-mortar presence in the same metro market. This means that web-only companies such as eBay and Amazon cannot be price matched.

2) Proof of the lower sale price must be provided in order to obtain a price match. This generally can be done by showing a sales associate a sales receipt, weekly advertisement or other in-store signage provided by a local competitor.

3) Best Buy™ is unable price match clearance, open-box and limited-quantity items, and cannot honor bundle packages or other vendor-specific offers such as rebates.

4) Price matches cannot be combined with any other offer, including coupons and double/triple Reward Zone® points promotions.

5) Price matches can only be obtained through a Best Buy™ store location. We are currently unable to provide price matches over the phone or online.

I found this on bestbuy.com. I know you already bought the camera, but they should be able to honor the lower price.

BestBuy.com does not match other online retailers in price. Best Buy™ stores do match competitor's prices but a few things must be met first.

1) It must be a brick and mortar store, meaning that it cannot be online only.
2) The store must be a local competitor of the Best Buy™ store you are attempting to price match with. It must be in the stores market area.
3) It must be the exact same model.
4) It must be in stock at the store you are trying to price match to.
5) Price match only, no mail in rebates or special bundles.

The best thing to do is to consult your local Best Buy store to see if this store matches these criteria.

In order for your local Best Buy™ store to honor a lower advertised price, that product must be available through a local competitor at a physical, brick-and-mortar store in the same metro market. Unfortunately, this means that we are unable to honor the pricing of online-only companies such as Amazon and eBay.

Please keep in mind that if you do find a lower price for a product available through Best Buy™ stores on a local retailer's website, we are still able to match that price as long as it is being honored in a store in your area. For example: if you were to find a lower price on a TV through Circuit City's website - and confirm that the price is being honored by the Circuit City store across the street from your local Best Buy™ store - we'd be able to honor that online price.

That would be a question for Best buy, easist way to find it is just calling your local best buy and asking them, Although I willing to bet that they don't price match.

Essentially what your local Best Buy™ store requires to perform any kind of price match is confirmation of our competitor's sale price. This can take the form of a weekly store advertisement, sales receipt, printed sales quote, or even a printed web page as long as the online price is being honored by a brick-and-mortar store in the same area.

Please remember that Best Buy™ stores are not able to price match web-only pricing or web-only companies (like Amazon or eBay), and that we can only price match local competitors. What constitutes a local competitor varies from store to store, but a good rule of thumb is that the stores must be within the same metro area for a price match to be honored.

Additionally, keep in mind that we are only able to honor current pricing and that other special offers (such as special financing, bundle packages, and rebates) cannot be matched.

Yes our Best Buy™ stores will price match, but the store we're price matching has to be in the local area of the Best Buy™ store that is doing the price match, and the competitor has to have the product in stock, and the product can't be on clearance.
