SOURCE: Mitsubishi WD 52525 & PS 3

First make sure your hdmi cable is connected from the PS3 to the TV. Then go to netcommand, review, and make sure "monlink" is checked, click next, and finish. Select "monlink" from your device manager and turn on your PS3. If the screen is blue, go to the next step. Connect the PS3 via regular a/v cables to the front panel "input-3". Create a net-command device for input-3 as well. Switch to the input-3 device you created and turn on your PS3. Choose display settings, and change the settings to HDMI. Then click change. You'll have 30 seconds to hit device manager, change the device to "monlink", and let the PS3 unit know the setting has worked. From there you can configure. Good luck!

SOURCE: PS3 not recognized by Mitsubishi WD=52525 tv through HDMI

FYI,

PS3 has output settings and would need to be adjusted if you are coming from the RCA input. Check out www.sony.com/ps3 trouble shooting under display problems. I believe the solution is to turn on the PS3 unit and keep holding the I/O button for more than 5 seconds. I had the same issue going the other way.

Good Luck.

SOURCE: I have a mitsubishi WD-52527 TV with error code 45

You have to pull the light engine to get to the pbs fan it is the one located closest to the lense on the light engine. you should be able to see if the fan is turning without removing the engine.

Cannot figure out how to connect my new sound bar to my older TV

Use a high speed HDMI cable form the TV to the sound bar. HDMI cables carry sound as well as picture signals. Refer to your TV's user manual http://www.hdtvsolutions.com/pdf/52527-62528.pdf
and the Samsung product support page http://www.samsung.com/us/support/owners/product/HW-F450/ZA for assistance

4yr old Mitsubishi DL 52525, HDMI input vide problem

Are you sure its the TV and not the source? Are you sure its only the HDMI port on the TV? The only reason why you must HDMI is to get 1080p and your TV doesn't support 1080p. Its supports up to 1080i. Your TV has a native resolution of 720p which means it can accept a 720p image and not need to scale it, so the picture will look the best at 720p but will support 1080i. I would use component cables to connect your sources and set them to output 720p.

I have a Mitsubishi WD-62525, and when the Directv installer came out, he said that he could not connect the box to my tv because he didn't know how to get my tv in HDMI mode. From what I am reading, it...

Your right connect the HDMI output from the directv receiver to an HDMI input on your tv. Change the tv input to the HDMI input and it should work. If your tv does not have HDMI input then it should have component input indentified as red blue green connectors on the back of tv. This is for video only. Connect the red and white for audio using the yellow/red/white cable that was included with receiver. The red blue green cable is also included with receiver as well as the HDMI cable. Did this installer educate you on how to use your directv equipment. If you are paying for HD access but your receiver is not connected the an HD input on your tv then you are not getting what you are paying for. This should of been resolved during the installation. The installer either is incompentant or just did not care. Call directv and demand them to make their receiver work with your tv if this means a field supervisor tech being sent out to correct this.

Mitsu 57731 problems have wide bar across screen

This is an ongoing problem with Mitsubishi DLP HDTV's contact the Customer Service at 1-800-332-211. Tell them this has been going on for a while and you want the TV either Fixed or Replaced. Ask for Adrianne Hardt, she is a Customer Service Manager...... TELL HER RICK GRIFFITH told you to call.

I am in the 4th week negociations with Mitsubishi over these exact problems. I purchased my 57" DLP HDTV in Aug of 06. Replaced the Lamp 3 times and have had 5 Service calls. I DO NOT have and extended Warranty. Mitsubishi provided me with the extention in writing and stated if any problem occurred again they would replace the Unit or provided monetary compensation.

Good Luck and be persistant.

Any of you can email me for from info and [email protected]
