I am suddenly unable to playback dvds, when I try to play them it looks as if it is loading for a few seconds and then goes to a blank screen which looks like the tv is on the wrong channel. I am currently...

Do games still work ok? Might be worth replacing the disk drive. Would mean breaking warranty seal though. Easy to change, just undi all the screws, open the case and carefully disconnect the ribbon cable from the board. Remove disk drive and replace. You can pick up the disk drive off ebay for a bargain hopefully.
Hope this helps.

Wrong answers

Most likely it's the process not the calculator that is failing. But there are so many things that could be shifting your results...

Are you rounding your values to two decimal places as you go? Because with accounting of very large numbers you need to not round until you get your final answer. The .001 cents lost each time you round a subtotal adds up and in the case of several millions of dollars can cause a few hundred dollar discrepancy.

Also, if you're calculating accrued interest make sure that you are compounding it correctly. Amounts compounded continuously will give you a dramatically different amount than interest compounded monthly or annually.

Finally, if you are using the memory function on the calculator make sure that you are pulling that value in correctly.

Won't format new DVD-RW disks

i did everyting today to fix this. bought new dvds, name brands different, tried finding codes, called the number. trust me. try this. clean it. thats All i did. cleaned it with a dvd cd cleaning disc, the one with two little brushes on it, nothing special, ran it until i heard the beep, popped my dvd in, they all worked. everyone, im still recording. i ran it about four times. now, if you tried to burn a dvd, and got the error, throw that dvd away. because i tried about ten dvds. after i fixed it, THOSE dvds were no longer usable. dont know why. hope this works.

Displays "No Disc"

It can be several reasons
1. Disk is upside down
2. Lens is durty. CD/DVD cleaning disk will help
3. Disk is in different formate (for instance NTSC for US but you trying to playback disk in PAL)
4. Disk has different region code (look is the dvd player and disk have the same code, or ALL Regions code)
Good Luck

Mizuda dvd player wont read dvds

Hi,

A couple of things To try.

1:) The DVD Player May be Region encoded, can only play certain region Dvds. ** Try different Disks**

2:) The Disk May Be Dirty-Scratched ( Towards The Centre )
** Clean The Disk With A Soft Lint-Free Cloth**

3:) The Laser Head may have a speck of dust or debris on it.
** Try a Laser Cleaning CD**

Hope this works For You.
