The cooktop has locked me out, there is a red key that comes up when I push the power button, how do I unlock it?

It is a saftey lock. Hold down the power button until it goes off (about 5 seconds)

You will have to hold the lock button down for 3 or 5 seconds for it to unlock. If this doesn't help, it could be a stuck key pad or a problem in the circuit board.

Red light on and range is locked, press but will not unlock.

My hob unlocks with that I turn on the hob and the the L appears, then I hold down the lock button until it disappears then I push the STOP/GO button.

find the button that has a lock on it or beside it, push it in and hold it until it unlocks

If Shr (5hr) appears on the display then the cooktop is in showroom mode. To exit showroom mode the cooktop must be locked by pressing and holding the key symbol for 5 seconds. After the cooktop is locked, press and hold the melt touch pad for 5 seconds.

Either hold down the 'Unlock' button or if the little red pad lock symbol is lid in the main display hold the 'Oven light' button for about 7 seconds...

Hi I have just had the problem of accidently locking my Neff Hob.
If you hold down the L Lock button for about a minute it unlocks.

gud day,not all models of ceramic hob have a child lock,check it 1st ur unit if have it,if we have,touch the circle w/sign of key to lock the ceramic for ur child,to unlock touch again.u see the ligth red is on it means the lock is in ON.easy to unlock even ur child by touching the key sign,for ur safety to not use ur unit,unplug the unit if it not use.

Plug the power line press the reset button.
