The score on football games on fox and cbs are halfway off the screen. How do I fix this?

Hello

It is likely that you have the "picture size" set to a mode that does not match what the channel is actually providing.

Go to the Menu options on your TV and then look for the Picture options. Change the size between the different options (typically 16:9, 4:3, Wide, Fit to Screen, etc.) and see which mode works best for the Fox and CBS broadcasts.

It is likely you have the TV set to Wide or Fit to Screen. Both change the settings to make 4:3 broadcasts fill the screen of a wide screen TV. Changing this to 16:9 should allow you to see the information on the sides and bottom of the screen again.

The score on some football games doesn't display fully in the corner of the screen.

I suspect you have the TV set to Smart or Expand picture mode. Go into the menu and re set the screen size to 16 X 9.
Hope that helps.

Toshiba tv model 57HC85

Go to settings and change to 16.9 widescreen

If you use 4:3 or zoom or fit or anything else, it will do that...use 16:9 or "regular".

Toshiba 50A50 missing sports score on top of image

Download the service manual and you'll find that there's a service mode that allows you to adjust convergence. Also, there's some adjustment knobs behind the right front speaker assembly
