This image is actually incorrect for a Grado cartridge. L and R are oriented with L on the left and R on the right when a Grado is inverted as in your picture.

Grado uses L R G and H on their cartridges. L and R mean Left and Right and G and H mean Ground(-) and Hot(+). A single letter does not refer to a single post. Instead the letters are meant to indicate a sort of "map grid" of what goes where.

So using the Grado letter scheme we see G(round) at the "top" and H(ot) at the "bottom" and Left and Right on their correct sides when the letters are right side up and the stylus is pointing up.

Bottom right = H&R = red = R+
Bottom left = H&L = white = L+
Top right = G&R = green = R-
Top left = G&L = blue = L-

Have stylus & headshell.need to attatch to tone arm.what other part do I need?

sounds like your missing the cartridge......the cartridge screws to the head shell, & has 4 wires connected to it...blue / red / green / white.
then the stylus, which is the needle, attaches to the cartridge.
then the hole thing connects to the tone arm, with the head shell.

Can you just replace the needle of a grado f3+ stylis?

Yes the correct replacement stylus for a Grado F3 is the Blue stylus. This is the stylus that will fit the older F3 model cartridge.

I have a 93 Ford Laser hatch back and I need to know the radio wiring color codes for the wires that plug into the back of the radio-cassette. 1)Orange-green tracer 2)Orange-black tracer 3)Grey-green...

OK this is what I did: First I soldered a wire each end of a 1.5v battery. I then bared the other ends of the two wires and tinned them. Then I touched the wires coming from under the dash in pairs until I heard the resultant sound coming from a speaker. This then told me the position of each speaker in the car. From there it was just a matter of noting the color codes for each pair of wires and from which speaker they came. My Gregory's Laser KH manual had wiring codes, but entirely different to my vehicle. Also there is no indication of what color matches what letter code! Cheers. Gerry

Philips 23PF9966/37 color problem!

Most likely you can adjust it in the Service Alignment Mode (SAM).

Press 062596 followed by the STATUS button (upper left). Navigate to "White Tone", press the right key to enter and select "Normal" mode. Set the colors:

Red = 135, Green = 128, Blue = 133.

The "Cool" and "Warm" menus are deltas from the "Normal" settings:

COOL: R -3, G -1, B 5
WARM: R 2, G -3, B -13

Press the "MENU" button to return to the main menu, then the "Power" button to turn the TV off.

Denon dp-35F turntable. What is the tone arm lead wiring layout? The cartridge is labeled RWGB, but not the tone arm.

It apears the lead wiring contact arrangement is typically generic. Green over Red and Blue over white. I searched Google by images and found the wiring arrangement in a detailed photograph of a Denon headpiece with cartridge installed.
So always remember to draw a diagram before disassembling something.
