TV as PC Monotir

I want to use my tv as my PC monitor also. When I connect it everything comes up but it isn't real clear as it is with my other monitor. Do I need to download new drivers? If so, how do I know what I need

Most widescreen TVs use a resolution of 1366 x 768, try that and see if it works.

You will never get as good an image on a large TV as you will get on a dedicated monitor. I have never looked, but you can search the internet and see if you an find a driver for using a widescreen TV as a monitor, you never know what you might come across.

Where is connection for hp pavilion p6110f to tv

Unless you have a dedicated video card (which is NOT included on the stock model of this PC, you'd have had to have added it after buying) there isn't one. Check your TV for a VGA connection (a blue connector, like your monitor) and if it doesn't have one, you're out of luck.

After 2 seconds my monitor HP w1907v is switching off itself and there's no way to bring it back to life again. If i switch off and on again the monitor shows images for 2 seconds and then dies. I...

Well the monitor obviously works, so I see no reason to open the case on the monitor especially because there are no user serviceable parts within the case. my sugestion is to try the monitor on another PC if that yeilds the same results then I am wrong and the problem lies with the monitor. I believe the are two types of connections for this monitor shane_barnha_2.jpg VGA and DVI shane_barnha_0.png
Next step is to try the one that you have not tried yet if that fixes it then the problem lies in the output conection on the back of PC the input connection on bottom of monitor or the cable itself. If there isn't a second connection like I think then the next option would be to try another monitor, which if you do not have available can be achieved by using most new flat screen TV's If you have a TV With the same conection Just move the PC or TV close enough to try, Use your remote to change TV input to PC then turn TV off connect cable turn TV on and start up your PC if this works you will need to have your monitor repaired or replaced.

Thumbs Up if helpful, Feedback is Appreciated!!!
Good Luck!!!

How can I connect my Dynex DX-32L151A11 32" LCD

The main set up is that you need to set your PC video resolution to the native resolution of this TV in PC mode otherwise the pictures will look real bad and not clear. No driver needed.
To use the TV as a monitor will not be as good as the PC monitor due to limited resolution the TV can display.
Here is the user manual:

I connected my computer tower to my moniter but no

At the rear or side of the PC there should be either or both of a 15 Pin DIN Plug, HDMI socket. or a Yellow RCA or 4 -7 pin DIN. Now IF these are present then YES you can connect to a TV. Now some TV's have a connector a DB15 MALE, so that the cable from the PC to the TV, is DB15. this plugs in directly, with appropriate DB15 cable. This, however, will ONLY take the VIDEO to the TV, Audio is delivered via the "Audio Out" Jack on PC, and Plugged into the AV Sockets on the TV, with a dual cored coaxial cable, they are Red & White. Some PC's also have a Yellow RCA Connector, OR a 4 -7 Pin DIN Socket, that requires a Special Adapter Cable (That generally came with the unit, and are colored and marked as to output) to use, for Video/Audio Out to TV. This signal is Composite or SVHS Video & Stereo Out. This connects up TO the TV's Composite/SVHS input Jacks and the Red & White Audio IN, RCA Jacks, &/or DIN SVHS socket.
First you need to know if your PC can output to a TV. Then you need to get the adapter & cables that connect the PC to the TV. Then you need the correct TV drivers installed for your video card. When they are all installed, you need to "Enable" that Monitors, the TV's, Desktop. You need to set either a "Cloned" display or "Spanned, Extended Desktop". Go to "Display Settings" Now ensure the TV/Monitor connected has the correct input/output display settings. Adjust the screens resolution via the resoloution "Slider", it is best to start with, 800x600 32 bit color. or even lower. and once working OK, THEN increase to max resolution, your TV can handle, find out from manual. Once it is all connected up. It should all just work great. Now, from then on, &, to get it to work every-time, the process is. Turn everything OFF. Connect the leads between PC & TV, Turn the TV, ON. Then, startup the PC up. It should "Detect" that it has TWO "Monitors" ie: One Monitor & One TV/Monitor, & you should see your desktop appear after a bit. Now you have screen 1 & screens 2. Now, if you are using "Cloned" mode, then whatever is displayed on the Master monitor, will be displayed on the TV. If you used Spanned, mode, in this mode, however, you will have to."Drag" the Video window, over to the TV, and it is though, you have one "Big Desktop". Now IF using Nvidia or ATI then BOTH of those have thier OWN, Control Panel, this, all then can make it all a lot easier to do it. So I would suggest that this method be used. But if you get stuck, or just want to do it by hand, then the the "By Hand" method is the only way. There is a great program called MultiMon, this allows great control over dual displays, and is well worth installing.

Got samsung le37a456c us as monitor

This samsung as pc monitor has an easy solution. after trying everything on many different sites:- rebooting, locating tv in settings, all the different sequences of conecting and turning pc and tv on, resolution settings. all this was a complete waste of time. SOLUTION:- i read all these people with the same problem and many had tried laptops and pc's on same tv yet always using same vga lead. so i decided i'd look at problem not in pc or tv but the lead, i borrowed a vga lead from I.T. department and as soon as i plugged this lead into my samgsung tv my pc option was active and i'd not even connected pc at that point. so i know its a total lead oriented problem.

No Picture or PC Display

Hi,

Sounds like either your Monitor is giving up or your Graphics card.

I would suspect your monitor. However, do double check the physical connection of the monitor to your PC, that usually does come loose - just tighten that and see how it goes.

I hope this helps,

Thanks,
