Turn off the Bluetooth on your iPhone. When charging the Plantronics 220, hold down its on/off button until it starts to blink two different colors. Then turn the Bluetooth to on once again on your phone. Once it detects the device, press pair. The pin is '0000'. A little late but hope it helps.

I can't hear the other people on my plantronics cs 70 which is connected with my cisco ip phone 7941 phone

• Check that all cords and jacks are connected correctly.

• Check that the base has power (red indicator light) and the headset battery is fully charged.

• Try other phone configuration dial settings on the base unit. Ensure the selected number is in line with the position indicator.

• Ensure you are in headset mode. Press the call control button to select correct mode. The talk indicator light on the base is green.

I found my son's plantronics 220. Been in storage a year! I have it charging now. the light is red and ever so often it flashes a blue color for a instant. Is it still good?

Normally the flashing red / blue light indicates the headset is in pairing mode. The red light indicates it's charging but the occasional instant blue is a mystery. The user guide below has the instructions for turning the headset on and off, and pairing to a phone. I would suggest you charge it up, follow the pairing instructions and see what comes up.

WILL NOT CHARGE MY PLANTRONICS 220 I'VE ONLY HAD IT FOR ABOUT A WEEK, I PLUG IT IN LIGHT TURNS RED AND THEN GOES BLANK

Check and make sure that the greenlight is on, on the power supply that plugs into the wall. If you are notseeing the green light then the power supply is not working. Contact the storewhere you made your purchase and see if you can return it or replace it.Youalso have the option of sending the headset back to Plantronics, just includeyour return address, phone number and a copy of your receipt.

This is the second Plantronics earpiece that stopped working

I am sorry to say but the Plantronics are cheap and not well made. Sounds like you might have a weak battery and because of that it wont have enough charge to turn on. I myself have gone through many and now spent a little bit more and got a better earpiece.

My 220 it wont charge

I have a Plantronics headset as well. If it stops charging it means it's time to buy a new one. If it's still under warranty however you should get a hold of plantronics to see if they can replace it because then it would be considered defective. Here is their number: (800) 544-4660 they also offer online chat at their website www.plantronics.com

All of a sudden my CS 55 with plantronics stopped working. It shows that its on but the headpiece isnt charing and also doesnt work. Any ideas why?

If the Plantronics CS55 wireless headset shows that it is on, you have to make sure of the following things.

a. the green LED on the base turns on when you turn the call switch on from the headset.
b. the small green LED on the side of the headset is blinking.
c. the telephone headset is lifted from the cradle.
d. if the headset is not charging and the Amber light on the base does not blink when you place wireless headset on it; trying placing the headset more firmly.
e. If the headset is not charging and the Amber light on the base does not blink even after placing the wireless headset firmly on the charging cradle, you may need to change the battery.

Alternately you can try resetting the Plantronics CS55 wireless headset.

Reset Plantronics CS50, CS60 or CS55 Wireless Headset

If you have problems with the sound or connection of your Plantronics CS50, CS60 or CS55 wireless phone headset, you may want to try to hard reset it using the following steps:

Note: Ensure the IntelliStand switch (on the right side of the charging base) is in the - position and NOT the = position.

1. Press both the call control button and the listening volume/mute button for 5 seconds. When the indicator light blinks release both buttons.

2. Press the call control button again. The talk indicator light will again blink to indicate the headset is back to normal.

3. Disconnect the AC charger from the AC charging jack for 5 seconds.

4. Reconnect the AC charger.

Now give the Plantronics headset a try.

Plantronics 220

Try pairing it like this: Put the phone into pairing mode. Begin with the headset turned off. Press and hold down the silver call control button in for 6-10 seconds. The light will flash blue first. Continue to hold the button down then release the button when the indicator light starts flashing red then blue. The units should link up together.
