The first question I have is did this issue start after a garbage disposal was installed? There is a plug in a new disposal that needs to be removed. If this is not the case the easiest thing to do is pull the dishwasher out. Be careful not to damage the floor or countertop. Tip the dishwasher back and put a cakepan or something under the drain pump to keep the mess to a minimum.
Remove the drain pump. Make sure you check the impeller is not loose on the shaft or broken and of course clean the ports.
I hope this helps.

Just had this problem. Remove the kick plate in front of machine. The drain pump filter maybe clogged. Turn the white screw to remove filter, but be sure to have towels or a bucket handy. I clean mine out and now is working fine.

Hi jbll,
The f02 code is always from a slow drain issue. This washer allows only 8 minutes for all the water to drain and if it is not gone in time you get the F02.
This is the proper check sequence for that problem.
Check the drain hose and make sure it is not plugged or kinked.
Check the electrical connections at the pump and make sure the pump is running.
Check the drain pump filter for foreign objects. You can remove this easily and replace it if needed.
If the above does not correct the problem, replace the pump.
I hope this has helped, Lots of luck . Mike Anderson

SOURCE: air handler will not run clogged up drain?
the air handler is in the attic or in a closet right? most likely the drain switch mentioned is in a pan located underneath the air handler, the switch is actuated when the condensation drain tube is clogged, ( when it cannot drain the water out of the pan), the float switch is actuated and the unit shuts off to prevent any more condensation, thus preventing overflow into your house/apt. the drain line can be sucked out by using a simple wet/dry vacuum of any kind from the end of the drain line ( usually a 3/4 inch PVC pipe located somewhere outside ).

Hi John,
From your description, it sounds like the line going into your drain system ( through the garbage disposal or directly into your drain itself) may be restricting water flow.. A quick test would be to detach your drain hose and cycle an empty dishwasher but run the drain water into a rubber barrel so as to eliminate your drain system from being the root cause. If it doesn't drain correctly into a barrell, then you may have a clogged filter or an something in the pump ( including but not necessarily the problem.. a bad pump) Try this test and let me know what happens..

Rick
SOURCE: kenmore HE flashing code F02...not draining. help.
no noeed to clean that justyet, i would imagine that the blockageis in the pump housing itself, you can gain acess to this by removing the lower panel of washer and unscrewing the "button trap"
Hi
This issue usually occurs due to kinked drain pipe, clogged
drain filter or drain pump. First make sure that the drain is not clogged and
remove clogs if present. If no visible lint is present then remove the lower
front access panel to check the drain filter and drain pump for any clogs,
you'll need to clean the drain filter and drain pump completely. Hope this
helps... Please post back for any further assistance.
