Yea the flexband is damaged......need to be replaced
You need to have the flexcable replaced.

There is something you can try. Using a Torx 6 driver, remove the two screws located beneath the battery. Gently pry the plastic cover loose. There will be a flex cable connecting it to the other portion of the phone. Gently disconnect it. Using 99.5% isopropyl alcohol and a soft bristled brush clean the connectors on both the cable and the circuit board. Reseat the connector and reassemble the phone. If this does not work the flex cable or LCD may need to be replaced.

If you have an SD card, remove and reinstall it. Worked for me.

Friend, thats LCD problem.the flex connector is cut or interface is broken. you can replace that one. if not the LCD is damage or broken so you need to replace the LCD. thts the only problem nothing else for sure.good luck

I'm useing my cell to text or just to look at the time and out of the blue the screen on my razr will just go blank. the phone still "works" but as far as texting gos you ever try doing it blind? well it sucks!
well my cell phone went blank and it wouldnt let me see whos calling me it wouldn't not even let me text no more and now i cant do nothing with my phone only talk
Screen would go black/blank,in-comig/out-going calls still worked..Tried removing battary and sim cleaned all contact points for above. That has fixed it in the past. Now not so.
Nokia 6086, about one year old, now has a blank screen. Can sometimes receive calls. The day before the blank screen, the menu screen had other written screens superimosed over the menu, so double screen words over other screen words. Couldn't read any of them.
The next day, screen went to all blue, and cannot get menu. Took out battery, tried everything, then called NOKIA. They didn't say they'd seen this problem, but it is the second NOKIA 6086 I've had and the other one was defective after 2 months. Going to try another phone. My SAMSUNG

i have a RAZR and one day i turned it on and the screen is all white. Can't text any more...only call.
My screen is blank. Usually, it starts up normal and works fine, but if it falls too far, gets set down too hard, or even if I move it too fast, the phone restarts itself and the screen is blank. It normally resolves itself, but lately the screen has been going black for longer and longer. It went blank today, and it has stayed that way so far. Halp!
PS:
There is a new problem with it that is tied to this one. When I start my phone while the screen is blank, it will play half of the start-up noise, then play one of my ringtones, which only stops playing when the ringtone is over. Halp again!
