Wonder if you can help this poor un-technaphobe. I have just managed to connect my laptop to new provider Orange (living in France) and the manual then suggests that it is possible to connect a second computer to the livebox - it doesn't actually say one can then get internet access on this second machine too, but would you say this is possible, and if not too complicated give instruction please Nikki Cullen - Limousin

Does this livebox connects you wireless? Did you have to put a password on the connection when you set it up? Yes, you can connect more than one no matter if wireless or ethernet.

Yes you can allways share your network connection and let others in the range use it.
if you right click on my network connection go to propertis of the connection and you could have the option share this connection and will be able to share it.
if your service provider has not blocked it.
thanks and regards
Dushyant

Hi,
Use the following link to disable parental control
http://www.howtogeek.com/howto/windows-vista/disable-user-account-control-uac-the-easy-way-on-windows-vista/

The second option you can try is do a system restore, ie take it back to the day it was working fine.
To do the same

Click the start button (pearl) and type system restore in start search.....

choose a restore point when you first installed the software....

Thanks
