Dishwasher BEKO DSFS 1531 W pump runs continious at end of cycle , where might it leak from for this to happen or wheres the water coming from when i tilt the machine, plaese help lol

The float inside the base of the machine will turn the pump on if there is water in there. It is an anti flood protection. If there is water inside every time you use it, there is a leak somewhere. Check the door seals and the hoses underneath. There will be soap stains where the leak is. Check the water level inside when its filled up. The water level should be at least 1/2 inch below the front lip of the tub.

Leaking dishwasher simpon silencio 850. not alot of water 100mls or so. can't see where it is leaking from, there are some water marks on the front right underside.

Commonly leak from door seal- check seal for rips, notches. Also common to leak from the black retainer that the door seal sits it-remove the seal (they just pull off) and shine a torch from inside the dishwasher around the back of the seal retainer, and see if there are any gaps around the outside of the seal retainer. Repair with silicone sealant if any gaps. Other things to check- check the screws that hold the top basket runner on are tight- there are two holes in the runners, move runner until you can see screw, check they are tight. Also check water level is not too high inside machine whenits running- there are three vertical lines on the bottom spray arm support tube- water level should not be above top line. If still leaking, call in the experts!! Good luck!!

My dishwasher is not cleaning my dishes the inside of my dishwasher is thick with white residue

hello. I can help you. Make sure your dishwasher is empty. Then pour two cups of vinegar into the dishwasher. Next run the hot water into your kitchen sink until it is as hot as it gets and start your machine. Run it on the longest and hottest cycle you have..

This will clean your machine. Repeat the process with more vinegar if you need to.

Once your machine is clean, be sure to always run your sink water until it is hot before turning on the dishwasher and also rinse your dishes. good luck with it.

Dishwasher problem

Symptoms:
Dispenser lid is open. Caked powder at (what would be during normal operation) bottom edge of soap dispenser or caked powder fallen onto dishes or dishwasher bottom. There may be loose powder in rest of dispenser or spilled down inside door or onto dishes underneath dispenser.

Solution:

Keep the area around the soap dispenser lid clear when loading the top tray.

Explanation:
The soap dispenser needs to swing open during the wash cycle. In many dishwashers the top tray has an indentation as wide as the lid of the dispenser. This allows the top tray to be as large deep as possible while still allowing space for the dispenser lid to open. People often pack their dishwasher with things overhanging this gap.

During the wash cycle the catch will release but the overhanging cutlery or crockery prevents the lid from opening all but a few degrees. Some water will splash in but not enough to wash out the soap powder. The soap powder at the bottom of the dispenser will then cake.

When the front door is opened the spring loaded lid, which is partly open, will of course swing fully open and you'll be convinced that the lid opened normally during operation. If this is the problem then if you're very careful and open the door very slowly you can actually hear the lid flip open. Also, depending on when the lid opens, how far it opened during operation and how fast you open the door you may find soap powder spilled down to cover the dishes at the front or down the inside of the door. This happens when you first open the door and obviously there couldn't be loose powder there if the powder had emerged while there was water washing around. Seeing the lid open as you open the door is a lot harder but can be done on some machines.

Water pump works from the minute I press the main switch

I may have had the same problem. At the end of a normal wash cycle the pump would stay on for hours or even days - I would have to power off, and then keepp trying to power on until it had eventually stopped. The pump operates even with the door open.

Problem is caused by a small float which senses the water level in the dishwasher, floating up and operating a microswitch, which turns on the pump to pump the water out. Obviously, if the dishwashe is filling up for some reason, you want the pump to operate even if the door is open. The float is in a small chamber - a very snug fit, with a hole in the bottom which is connected to the main pipework in the machine. There is another chamber next to the flot chamber which is also connected to the pipework. When the water level rises too high, water from this second chamber overflows into the flot chamber, raising the float and operating the pump. The water level then drops as the water is pumped out. The water level in the float chamber should also drop, but didn't on my dishwasher because the hole in the bottom was blocked (with old soap suds and grime I assume). Hence the pump just stays on. I assume in my case, the water flowed out very slowly, and eventually the pump stopped.

To fix it, removed the left hand side panel (2 screws on the front door lip. The back of the panel is just hooked on some raised bits of plastic). This exposes all the pipework, and the red float can be seen in it's chamber. I removed an extra couple of bits of plastic near the float chamber whilst I tried to work out what to do - but this may not be necessary. You will have to try for yourself. I couldn't get access to the hole to poke something in to unblock it, so I poured sink and drain cleaner into the flot chamber, topping up as it drained away, leaving it for approx. 15 mins. I think thick bleach would also work. Note: this cleaner won't be very good for any metal inside the dishwasher, so run 1 or 2 wash cycles to clean it out.

Maybe the dishwasher cleaner advertised on tv would have worked i.e. the stuff you put in the dishwasher on an emty cycle to clean out all the internals. I haven't used it, but it would be easier than taking the dishwasher to pieces.

Hope this helps

Dishwasher only starts if I tip it, then it sticks during cycle and hums

The left side (behind the metal side panel)of your machine has a blue and yellow mechanism which regulates the level of water for your machine(if there is no big yellow disk at the top of the mechanism then your machine is time fill). It also has a built in safety that if water should enter the white pan on the bottom, the drain pump will activate and stay on. It sounds like the machine problem has to to with water and flow level. You can observe the filling and running of your machine with the side panel off. (the connections at the switches on the float assembly are live be careful)
