Have a motorola e815 cell phone and the VRBT300V bluetooth speaker from Costco, too. I cannot pair it with the cell phone. This speaker pairs with my Blackberry, so I know it works. Followed the manual instructions on both cell phone and bluetooth speaker, and still could not get it to pair. Any suggestions?

I have a LG VX8700 cellphone and recently got the VRBT300V at Costco. When I originally set it up to work with my cell phone yesterday it worked fine, paired up and synced just fine. However, today after both were powered down and then powered back up, my cell tells me that the VRBT300V is either out of range on not on, which are not true. I even deleted the VRBT300V from my phone and paired them back up again, which worked fine but it still will not correctly sync in bluetooth mode.

The answer is to press the multi-function button once to instruct the device to re-connect to a cell phone that has become un-paired.

Here's a link for the instruction manual: http://www.roadmasterusa.com/forums/index.php?act=attach&type=post&id=125

November 2008 ... same problem with VRBT300V from Costco and Motorola Q9

with my Motorola Q9 I was able to do the initial sync ... and it worked fine ... send and receive calls "hands free", even voice dial ... which I haven't figured on on the Hand Held mode ....

but after shutting down they wouldn't talk to each other ... tried deleting the link on the Q9 and now it doesn't see the VRBT300V

To make it louder, just use the toggle switch above the on/off buttons. Toggle to the right to make it louder. I have found it to not be loud enough in certain situations were road noise is problematic.

I just bought this unit today at Costco.  I read a post on yahoo that said to make sure that you hold the on button long enough to see the blue and red lights flashing.  Once I did that my cell phone had no problems finding the unit.

Hello i've been trying to send pics but they will not go threw i've tried with 3 different phones

Hello,

To send pictures from your phone, ensure your phones bluetooth is tuned on, also the phone you are trying to send the picture to should have his bluetooth turned on.

If it requires pairing, pair the devices by sending a file to the phone then it requires you to pair up the devices. Enter the same passwords on both phones and it will be paired, then your pictures will go to through.

If it does not, then it means your bluetooths version is different from that which you are sending the pictures to.

Try to send the pictures to a similar kind of phone.

Take care.

Cell samsung SGH-F250 with bluetooth motorola h500

ACTIVATING THE BLUETOOTH
You must activate the Bluetooth feature of your phone to be able to establish a Bluetooth connection
between your phone and your SuperTooth kit as well as with other Bluetooth devices.
1.
Press Menu > Settings > Bluetooth > Activation > On.
2.
Press Back as many times as needed to return to standby mode.
PAIRING TO THE CELLULAR PHONE (Not possible while charging the SuperTooth)
Pairing will create a link or connection between the two Bluetooth devices - the SuperTooth kit and your phone.
1. Bring the cellular phone at about 20 cm from the SuperTooth.
2. Turn off the SuperTooth and wait for about 4 seconds.
3. While pressing the Answer Button, turn ON the SuperTooth by sliding the Power Switch to the right. Keep the Answer Button pressed for approximately 10 seconds until you hear a distinctive tone and the Bluetooth indicator LED changes from blinking blue to alternately blinking of red and blue. The SuperTooth is now in pairing mode.
4. While the SuperTooth is at pairing mode, access the Bluetooth menu of your phone. Press Menu > Settings > Bluetooth > My devices > Search new device. The phone will then search for pairable devices until it displays them in the list.
5. Highlight SuperTooth then press Select.
6. Enter PIN “0000” then press Ok. (Wait until “Paired with …“ and “Connected” will be shown briefly.)
7. Press Back as many times as needed to return to standby mode. Pairing is successful if the alternating red/blue lights of Bluetooth Indicator stops and then change to plain blinking blue. Normally, the phone would also show briefly on its display if it’s already paired and connected to SuperTooth or if pairing with it failed.
The SuperTooth kit is now ready to use.
