I am trying to locate relacement parts for this model(1740).
tape motor badly worm, the belts are Junk, we have 25 of these to service. Would like a parts breakdown with prices
The majority have wavy audio, and adjusting the trim pot on the
board must be turned up to get right speed.
Help!!!!!!!!!

Hi, Does the tape move when you press rewind or fast forward. If the tape moves for a few seconds then bleeps it sound like a sensor problem. If it only bleeps when the rewind and fast forward are pressed and the play is ok it sounds like the actuator motor is faulty,this motor enables the rewind and fast forward. Hope this helps.
I have an older Montgomery Ward Snow Thrower model No. TM0-35286A and I'm having a hard time finding parts for it. The tiller just stopped working so I'm thinking the worm-gear is shot, but I can't even find the part on-line...Can you help?
The drawer on a dvd player is a rack and gear drive. Sounds like you may have a bad motor or a jammed drawer. If you take it a part, see if you can find the motor that drives the drawer. It should have a worm gear on it. Try to turn it to release the drawer. It maybe out of time or slipped a tooth on the gear, hope this helps
HI... There are 2 belts in the mechanism that would need replacing. I've fixed 2 of these. There's a very small belt on the underside of the tape drive assembly 1.55 inch belt x 0.039 www.studiosoundelectronics.com # SBO1.55 Dont remember the other
