Acer 5810TZ-4238 upgraded to windows 7 32 bit ultimate and no sound from internal speakers

Hi! The problem with your laptop is maybe you installed a wrong Audio Card driver. You may want to visit Acer support center: Download Drivers and Manuals Acer Official Site .

From here you can download the perfect drivers for your laptop.

*Additional Info: Maybe you installed a wrong OS platform on your laptop. You can search if it is '64-bit' not '32-bit'.

Hope this will help :)

MY SYSTEM IS 1998 MODEL WITH INTEL PENTIUM III. SUDDENLY MY SYSTEM LOST SOUND WHILE I WAS PLAYING A MOVIE . MOVIE IS RUNNING BUT SOUND HAS NOT COME. THEN I ASKED MY FRIEND, HE TOLD ME THAT SOUND CARD...

Hi

This is and old soundcard . I believe it is designed to support DOS, Windows 95/98/NT/ME/2000 only.

You do not say which operating syustem you are using. XP, maybe?

Before you try to install drivers try:

Start > control Panel > Sounds and audio devices > Audio > click on the drop menu next to playback device to see list of audio devices > selesct the Dynex DX-SC5.1 as the Default Device > Apply > Ok.

In Vista:

Start > Control panel > hardware & Sounds > manage audio Devices > click to highlight the sound driver for this sound card > Set Default > Apply > OK.

If tyhis does not work, then uninstall the drivers > restart the computer > download and reinstall the drivers.

PROBLEMS WITH COMPUTER SOUND GOT Oxc00D11BA COMING UP AND CANT GET ANYTHING OUT OF SPEAKERS RANG DELL BUT DONT WANT TO KNOW ALL I WANT TO KNOW IS WHAT MAKE IT IS AND SOME DETAILS ABOUT IT

Hi,
The error Oxc00D11BA means that a media player like Windows Media Player is detecting a problem with your sound card so no sound is produced. This usually sorted out by updating or reinstalling your audio drivers.

All you have to do go to Dell's support website here and download & install the drivers for the audio >>>>>>>>

http://support.dell.com/support/downloads/driverslist.aspx?c=us&l=en&s=gen&ServiceTag=&SystemID=DIMENSION%205150/E510&os=WW1&osl=en&catid=&impid=

Choose your operating system (XP or Vista) and download the audio drivers. There are three of them so it's trial and error. Just install each driver one by one until you install the correct driver.

I am getting a distorted sound from the speakers. i did not receive an installation CD, not sure if this is the problem

If you mean the xp/vista/win 7 installation cd's then you have to make your own. The manual that came with the pc will give you the information that you need. If it's xp it will be 1 dvd, vista needs 2 dvd's or 7 cd's, i'm not sure about win 7. As for the sound, what you could do is to drop the drivers for the sound card and reboot the pc, this will refresh the connection between hardware & software. To drop the drivers you need to go to start>>right click my computer>>properties>>hardware tab>>devise manager>>click on + sign next to "sound, video & game controllers & look for the sound card. Do not remove codecs, just the sound card then reboot.

Hope that works for you!!
