I need to know the modem login and password for level1 modems

If it's a CradlePoint router or modem/router, the owner may have enabled access control under

Tools -> User Login -> User Login Settings -> Require User Login, and
Tools -> User Login -> Internet Access Password.

Which causes a java popup to appear prompting for a password (which is not necessarily the same as the modem/router's administration password; typically it's NOT the same).

I imagine other routers could have similar settings... a good reason to include details such as the brand and model of the modem/router.

If the wifi modem is a new type, just push a button at the modem and then try to connect form MAC. Password is automatically transferred.

If you have an older wifi modem, you will need to know the password by login into the wifi modem.

here are the username and password for the modem which are default

USER NAME:-ADMIN

PASSWORD:-leave it blank>>press login(this should work)

DEFAULT IP FOR YOUR MODEM:-192.168.100.1

IF THIS doesnt work try to turn off the modem and turn it on back...this might work

or else you can try to reset the modem,once this is done you might have to reconfigure the modem...contact your internet service provider to set it up

Default password for most of the modem is "admin"
If it doesn't help, then it will be mentioned in your modem user manual. For resetting your modem, you can use the hardware reset switch also. You can reset using that by inserting a small pin/needle into the hole located somewhere behind the modem.

Modem login and password are required to set up your router. They are on your computer somewhere and I forget where. I've had a router for quite a while. The easiest way is th phone your internet supplier and ask them what they are. The package they sent you when you first signed up would contain all that but if it is lost (very comon) just check with your ISP.

Try looking on the modem itself, sometimes they have their default username and password written on them. Try combinations of "user" or "admin". eg username: "admin" password "admin"
if these don't work and you don't know why you can't log into your modem, try resetting your modem using the reset button on it (or holding the power button for 10-20sec) and then try the above suggestion again.
If you still can't login, write back with your modem make and model number.
