Trying to locate a store where to find cleaning tablets for Bosch Benvenuto B30

I have a Bosch Benenuto B30 that started displaying "Error 8"

You have accidentally turned down the brew strength selector, on front of unit just above "clean" and "descale" buttons. Dial it the the maximum. Will grind longer, make more grounds, larger puck, stronger coffee. Or this dial is broken/ wire broken etc. u can disassemble per some other posts on here and check wire connections. I did all that then realized someone had just turned it down. So I turned it to maximum strength and problem fixed.

Howdy. I'm going to take one for the team on this one and tell you what I found out from Bosch. They say nothing is ever to be put in the coffee grinder area except coffee. They understand that while it is a popular home grinder tip to clean with rice, that does not include integrated coffee systems like the Benvenuto. Sadly, they went on to tell me that they had no suggestions at all for removing the residue from the workings of the machine. I had thought that eventually, over time, it might rinse away. am very sorry to deliver this news and hope someone somewhere has a better answer for you.

I just called Bosch and they had them available. The product number is 310575

The cleaning program is different from the descaling program.
The machine is now wanting you to descale the machine. Get some descaling powder or tablets, desolve in water and let the machine run through the descale program.

You seem to have been thorough; I found no US source for the tablets.

When searching google.de and using the German name for these, 'Bosch reinigungstabletten' I got almost 20,000 hits in just about every European language.
They are available from numerous stores there at prices ranging from 7 to 12 Euros (today: 1 Euro=~ $1.60) for a package of 10 plus shipping.

Considering the cost of the machine, this is an inexcusable omission by Bosch and I recommend contacting them directly and demanding they be stocked in the US or Canada.
