You're lamp came to its peak burning life and now its dead that's why you can't power up the unit and the led light keeps flashing. Once the lamp replace with new one your unit will back to normal again. Check Lamp Fan if it stops running when Lamp trys to Light ,Then Lamp will not Power up,or Ballast Board itis what powers Lamp on.

I have a sony SXRD KDS-R60XBR@ tv. It wont turn on. When I hit the power , the power lite flash's green as it fres, just as the lamp lites there is an internal click, the fan goes off, the lamp shuts off...

it's the fan's they either need cleaning or to be replaced.

Probable Lamp. If lamp hasn't bown the red Lamp Lite won't flash but other lamp issues cause stby timer light to continue flashing. If stby red lite is flashing, count the no. of times flashing - could open thermal fuse (6X flashing)

I got a free sharp notevision PG-m20x. I plug it

if you don't hear a high-pitched whir, the colorwheel needs replacing. if you do hear it, the lamp may need replacing. if the lamp is new, there is a power supply problem.

No sound or picture, 2004 pt50dl54j

remove back panel. blow out all the dust from all the components except the fan on the right.
Vacuum out all the dust.
Have you replaced the lamp? that would help too.
There are 2 small red lamp. One indicates HEAT problem. The other one is the LAMP indicator.

Toshiba TDP SC25 projector

The manual says it might be because the power went out when it was on. Just a note here, as projectors age they become more sensitive to power outages. When not in use turn off completely if you can. They have an on/off button.

Otherwise not sure but think you may need to replace the fan. Try cleaning it first but gently.

Doulbe check in the owner's manual, but this is usually an indication of a bad lamp or fan error. There will be a table in the owner's manual listing the error codes as shown by these lights. I can't give you more details without the exact model number.

Hi, both power light and status light a solid red with no response to any buttons indicates the bulb timer has expired. You need to reset the timer by pressing and holding the left arrow key, the right arrow key and the power button all at the same time for a few seconds.

If there are no problems, the projector will fire up, but you must replace the bulb as it will fail soon and perhaps explode when it does.

my bulb exsploded and i replaced the bulb but know it just flashes red and green. tried to reset the timer but nothing.

Thank you, I was unsure if it was the lamp or the projector - followed your instruction and the projector came back up. Now I know I have to get a new globe.
