I Got it!
I finally got my HTC TyTN II yesterday from Dubai.
First thing I wanted to test was the GPS. It did not work with: TomTom6, Google Maps, Yahoo Go.)
I was surfing around to find something that would help me out and have noticed that many people have the same problem.
Many people (Like me) did not know howe to setup the GPS.
Many people are saying: "You have to put it your GPS settings in Com 4 and the Baud rate on 4800 and it should work.
Well mine didn't work with those settings. (Along with other people.)
I had played with the External GPS option (Don't do this cause setting something wrongm ay cost you a HARD-Reset.)
I Was lucky that mine worked again after a SOFT-Reset. So watch out!
The standard GPS settings! (If you have changed it, Soft-reset your phone and set it up as these pictures show.)

Why am I doing this?
People buy this phone to make use of it. When something does not work why buy the phone then :S
Hope that this may help a lot of people on here and other forums, communitys & websites.

Here is my story of how I did get my GPS to work:
1. Download the GPS addresses by using QuickGPS (Start -> Programs -> QuickGPS).
(This will download info of what your GPS Reciver needs to connect to the satalites.)
2. Download a free (Well half free, You can also buy this application it will give you some extra options, but we don't need those extra options.) tool named: GPS Test. (http://www.smartphone.net/software_detail.asp?id=3170 or at http://www.pocketpc-software-downloads.com/software/t-free-pocketpc-gps-test-download-uykfcoyy.html)
(This program will scan all your mobiles com ports and Baud rates, To see what your real GPS settings are.
In my case they were: COM PORT: 4 - Baud Rate: 9600 (Notice it ain't 4800. Usaly it shows your settings with a pop-up.
When It doesn't Go to "Menu -> GPS Settings", There it will show you you're GPS settings.)
3. Install TomTom 64. Download your free map.
5. Go to the GPS settings.
(Set-up: Other NMEA GPS-Reciver -> GPS-Baud Rate -> Com. (Select the Baud rate + Com port from what the GPS Test did show you.)
6. Now wait.

My htc tytn ii stays on align screen after hard reset

It seems it might be a problem with the installed ROM (corruption of some sort).Installing an original ROM (which can be downloaded from HTC's site) should fix it.

HTC TyTN II flashed memory no sound

Check if you coincidently mute the phone. If its not the software then looks like the speaker is bad. Send your HTC TyTN II for repair to Dr. Cell Phone.

TyTN II - Keep the phone screen alice during a call

Hi there,
Received the following reponse very promptly from HTC Support
---Quote---
This is actually a function of the phone and not a fault. It was designed so that when you were on a call and had the phone against your ear that you didn't accidently tap on the screen and open functions or end the call etc. If you wish to access the touchscreen while on the phone you can press the power button on the side of the phone to turn the screen back on. I have attached a 3rd Party Application that allows the screen to stay on while you are on a call. Follow the below steps to install the program. Attached is a patch for the TyTN II screen blackout issue.
This is not an official fix.
  1. Copy the KaiserTweak.zip folder to your pc's desktop.
  2. Connect you device to the pc via ActiveSync.
  3. Use the Explore function in Active Sync to copy the KaiserTweak.zip folder to the windows directory on your TYTN II.
  4. Disconnect your TYTN II from the pc.
  5. Open up file explorer on your TYTN II and go to the windows directory
  6. Unzip the folder to the windows directory on the TYTN II
  7. Run the Kaiser Tweak.exe to install the patch.
  8. Adopt the recommended configs, not the default.
  9. Soft reset the TYTN II by pressing the stylus into the little circle hole on the bottom of the handset.
If it doesn't work first time hard reset and try again. ---End Quote --- Thanks to the FixYa guys for thier intererst in this topic and problem Cheers Corpcc
