I have a Panasonic TH-50PZ80U Plasma and connect to a satellite cable box via an HDMI cable. The TV is 2 months old and was working fine until last night when the TV displayed a message saying the TV would shut down in 3 minutes. I couldn't get a picture through either of the 2 HDMI cable slots but could get a cable picture with a component cable. The Blu ray DVD works fine through either HDMI slot.

What other audio/video outputs does the TV have? Does it have an HDMI port? If so, connect TV to your home theater using HDMI to HDMI.

Connecting a panasonic surround sound to a sanyo tv

if you have this option, use a hdmi cord from the dvd output to the input of the tv.most new tvs have several hdmi connectors. Then use a fiber optic cable from sound system to the audio input of the tv. between the both it should sound like a movie theatre. thats how i hooked mine up. good luck

I am trying to find an update driver for my Panasonic DVD Home Cinema SC-PT450-K Can you help? Plus how o I upload a DVD player with these drivers?

Hello

According to panasonic they dont make a pt450 but they do make a 480, so I assume this will get you close enough.

here is the driver site

http://www2.panasonic.com/consumer-electronics/support/Audio/Home-Theater/Home-Theater-Systems/Drivers-Downloads/model.SC-PT480.D#ts

Best of luck
PS you can also download the manual too, and that will give you all the directions.

Yes, you can connect any home system into the TV by either using a scart or HDMI connector to produce the picture on the TV. The sound will still be present through the cinema system

How do i connect my non hdmi xbox 360 to my panasonic scbt205ebk home cinema and panasonic 42v10 plasma so that the sound comes from the home cinema system. i also have sky hd

If you use a component system (1 yellow video wire, 1 red audio wire and 1 white audio wire)

You will have to connect the audio wires to your cinema system and the video directly to your set.

The unfortunate part of this is that when you want to use your system, you will have to change the input of the TV AND the Cinema system.

The same would be true if you wanted to use the DVD connectors (YBPBR). You would connect the video to the TV and the audio to the Panasonic unit.

The system you have is meant more for just playing DVD's and not a total cinema system. This is why there are limited (extremely limited) video inputs. The system is mostly for output of sound and of a the built in DVD video.

Panasonic multi connections

HDMI audio in this setup is a one way street. Audio will not come back from the TV to the audio system.
Sorry as you have not shown the model number I can not advise on the system fully.
However, it is standard on the current Panasonics to use Optical audio as a return feed or phonos.
Optical would be best as it carries full digital surround, whilst the phonos only carry "surround"
It may help for you to look a the new Panasonic web sit as there is now an interactive "How to connect your system"
