I can't get on facebook,says internet explorer can't display the page.

Try to reset your internet explorer settings back to default.
By performing this procedure will erase any particular settings on your browser and set it back to default settings.

On Internet Explorer go to Gear (tools) - Internet Options - Advanced - Reset - mark "Delete personal settings" and press reset

Close and open back IE and see if it works.
If you are still unable to access facebook your machine might have a malware preventing access to facebook.

Possible solutions to get rid of this annoying problem would be:-

- Uninstall the internet explorer.
- Disinfect your system using some reliable antivirus program.
- Run Disk Defragmentation.
- Disable background services.
- Install latest Windows updates.
- Clean registry with PC Fresher.
- Download latest internet explorer and install it.

Open dos command by typing CMD and type ping Facebook.com , see if you get a response , then clear temp internet pages & cookies by right clicking on your main Internet explorer icon not the shortcut icon , selecting properties , look for the tab that display cache stored pages and clear the temp stored pages and delete old cookies

if the place is your home your accessing internet from then try making sure the site is allowed through internet explorer. this can be done in the options page from the top menu. if your accessing internet from another area the issue could be with that site being blocked from the access point itself, for example most schools block all social sites

Facebook upgrade their websites. It recommend Internet Explorer 8 when browsing in facebook websites. Just download this internet explorer and there would be not conflict with the other internet explorer you are using. Do not install download the toolbars.

primary dns 8.8.8.8
secondary dns 4.2.2.3

Your Advance Options < in INTERNET OPTIONS of your ie requires to be reset to DEFAULT

Also RESET internet Security Settings to MEDIUM HIGH in the INTERNET OPTION< TOOLS of you IE
