I connected this TV to a bose cinemate sound system. It appears I do not have anything from the audio out connections on the tv. Also when I select menu there is no selection titled TV as is in the manual.

No volume cinemate gs seris ii

OK, so your Bose remote is set up for your TV. That's good. You still have to connect some kind of audio output from the TV and connect it to one of the inputs on the Bose. Then you must select the input button on the Bose remote that you connected the TV to. For more information, please visit my website at audioserviceclinic.com. Thank you.

When I hookup my Bose Cinemate System to my new Samsung tv. I am hearing feedback along with the sound. I called Samsung support line and they said it would not be the tv. I haven't talked to Bose yet. I...

You're not supposed to have the TV sound and the Bose osund on at the same time. Due to differences in digital audio processing there will be delays that sound like echo, not feedback.

If you truly have feedback, define the audio connections and exact cabling to/from all components..

I have a Bose Cinemate System and a new LG Plasma TV that it will not work with. The Bose system connects using red and white RCA connectors and needs it to be plugged into an Audio Out. The only Audio Out...

If you're using a Cinemate for HDTV listening you're missing out on multichannel sound. However, since it only supports analog 2-channel audio AND a TV or monitor is NOT a meaningful contributor to the listening experience, maybe you could extract the TV audio from the cable box where it ultimately originates in the first place. I'm sure it has a convenient and compatible RCA pair.

I am trying to connect my bose cinemate speaker system to my new sharp Aquos Quattron tv but I am not having success. I called Sharp and she told me to put the TV on the variable select mode but this is...

I assume you have everything hooked up? You should have the Audio Out from your interface module connected to the Audio IN of the TV. The sound should be set to fixed, not variable. Variable means you control the sound output from the TV which controls the sound from the Bose. Not Good. Sound quality is not as good and confusing to customers. Make sure your selecting the right tv input on the Bose system. You should be good to go.

How can I hook up my Bose cinemate on my Philips HD tv when no there is no Audio out and I want to use it for my dvd player, cable box, and video systems?

You don't need to send audio TO a TV. I's a TV, not a source of anything. Many of us use monitors (no TV speakers). The Bose speakers are presumably superior to the TV speakers so whatever the TV is watching (cable/sat/dvd) shuld have its own audio.

Page 11.

If your TV does not have any audio output jacks, you can connect the CineMate™ speaker

system to the audio output jacks of another source, such as a DVD player or cable/satellite

box. However, you will hear sound only from the connected source through your CineMate
speakers.

Bose cinemate no sound

Yes it will work coming straight off the dirctv box. What kind of tv do u have that doesnt have an audio out. I have had to actually use rca splitters to get sound from bluray and cable box because the new samsung led tvs only have optical out. Dont forget the unit not being used must be off or u will have 2 source sounds at one time playing.

Connecting bose 321 system to lg hd flat screen, bose receiver plays fm am ok threw speakers.tv will not play threw bose speakers.bose dvd plays sound ,but no picture

You will need a Component Video Cable
Connect the Red Green and Blue Connections from the TV to the Bose.

if your audio is coming from the TV, also connect stereo audio from the TV's audio out to the "TV" input on the bose.

if you want to hook up other devices (VCR, BluRay, etc) the video will go directly to the TV and audio will go directly to the Bose

Connecting my HDTV to my Bose Cinemate

If your BOSE system only has one audio input you will have to connect everything to your tv and like the other guy said there will be an audio out on the back of your tv, connect that to your BOSE and when you switch inputs on your tv it should send that audio to your speaker setup.
