This is because your router is dropping the connection with your ISP Modem...
It can be even an issue of modem...

To isolate the issue, what you can do is... You can connect your computer directly to the Modem and you can check for any intermittant connectivity...
if you dont have any problem with your modem, then definitely its gonna be the problem with your Belkin Router...

Doing a reset for the router and reconfiguring will resolve the issue in most of the cases...
If in case if it doesnt works, then you can do a firmware update for the router (that would be found in belkin router support website)...
Even then if it is dropping the connection then definitely it is a faulty router...You can ask for a replacement if the product is still under hardware & software warranty...

My router won't give me internet access?

IF you have a Modem and a Router & you have the cables on both hooked up right just unplug the Modem for 1 min and replug it back in and after that unplug the Router for 1 min and replug it back in and they should auto detect or set up and they should work.

My Rangemax wireless wndr3000 is not working properly, though it has in the past. The problem seems to be that I'm hooked up to the wireless network (ex. I can print wirelessly), but with no internet....

Same situation here. Wired connection from modem works fine. I can also log in to the router via routerlogin.net. However, the router does not detect an internet connection.

The signal is strong but there's no connection to internet

I have this problem sometimes. If you lose connection to the modem, you can't connect back to it, you have to reset the modem. Goto the modem, unplug it, wait 10 seconds, then plug it back in. Goto your connections, select yours, disconnect and then reconnect, wait a few seconds and it should connect. Hope this helps, let me know if it does or doesn't.

Belkin 54G won't connect to the internet

Are you sure your modem is giving a WAN IP from your ISP? Try power-cycling your modem with your router unplugged then bring up your router next, if you havent tried that already... After that try connecting your modem directly to a PC and set your NIC card to DHCP and see if you get an IP address thats routable to the internet (i.e not a private IP)

Intermittent connectivity

Check to see if you are losing the DSL or Internet light on the modem when you lose your onnection. If so, then check with your IP provider, that may be the problem.

L2TP connection problem

Hello, I've had the electric cut off and immediately back on and I lost my connection from Wireless router to modem. I could not connect in the same way. I could access the router settings with wireless laptop and PC but not to internet on either. I bypassed the router and connected the PC computer to modem then to internet verifying with a browser. I then reconnected the computer cable back to router and router to modem. It stayed connected. But I'm not sure if you have a PC connected to the router also. Sometimes just unplugging some cables and replugging will solve problems. Hope this helps.
