It's customary to mute the TV speakers if you're using external, presumably better, speakers. The best TV-related audio would be obtained not from the TV but from the original source you're watching - CD/Cable/DVD/BluRay/Game.

If you have the manual you might also want to see the settings for speaker distance from the listening position as that can cause an indistinct sound image if grossly incorrect.

My new Vizion tv has a vizion sound bar, the sound comes out with an echo, how do I correct?

Your TV speakers should be turned all the way down or off when you use a separate sound system such as a soundbar. Using them with the soundbar may cause echoes and the TV speakers do nothing to improve the sound.

Look at your TV's audio menu. If you can, turn the TV speakers off completely at the menu. Also see if you can set the analog audio output to "variable." This will allow you to control the soundbar's volume with the TV remote.

No remote..want to play xbox...how can i do this without remote? TV has no input button

Just get a cheap universal remote, and program it to the TV. Some TVs don't have the dedicated buttons to switch inputs, without the remote.

I picked up a vocopro karaoke machine at a yard sale and the echo makes a loud hum also i need a owners manual and remote where can i get help with this. model#890G thank you

Hello. For the manual and remote your best option is to search online. As far as the echo goes, this is just a cheap microphone with a cheap system. It will not go away unless you turn the volume down on the system. If you want to put good money down on a nice SHURE brand microphone it will definitly help with the echo, however it will not make the system any better.

System echos when dvd is in. When I mute the Bose sytem I can hear the TV sound without the echo.

The echo you hear is the audio delay between your TV speakers and Bose speakers. Muting (or lowering the volume) on the TV will eliminate the echo. Some TVs have a setting to turn of TV speakers entirely, allowing you to listen to your TVs audio strictly through your Bose system.

Sound echo

I found that the best way to avoid this problem is to mute the television speakers or, if you can, turn off the speakers. There seems to be a very brief delay between TV and theater speakers, causing what sounds like an echo. hope this helps.

TV Volume turns down by itself - Philips 29PT8319 Matchline 27"

Most likely the volume down button on the front of the TV or the switch that it activates is sticking. Should be an easy fix otherwise.
