With the MC9090 handheld bar code scanner upon wake-up it seems that the first call to a web service, generally fails.
When an MC9090 bar code scanner enters sleep mode does the wireless transmitter turn off as well?
If the sleep timer is disabled, would the wireless transmitter still turn off after an extended period of time (hour +) ?

On an MC9090, with the battery removed, hold both power and trigger down, then insert the battery, and keep holding both buttons down. Wait for the onscreen display.
The RFID version requires a fair bit of knowledge and an application that is RFID capable. Contact your dealer. If you bought it used or off the web, good luck. Your best bet is to contact the Help Desk at 1-800-653-5350 or work with a full service dealer in your area
