Canon MF 4320d displaying an error message E225. What to do. System has stopped responding to the PC

I think it will be better to re-connect the flat cable to CIS unit first. Then do the Hardware TEST IN service mode.
Press Additional function >#> go to H/W test using arrow keys, press 1,2,3,4,5 keys , the cis will glow in different colors corresponding to each keys. if this is happening then your CIS is ok. Now your problem lies in the FLAT CABLE OF CIS. Now apply white grease or something like that to the areas where the cis touches the base plate and to th bending portion of cis cable your problem will be solved for sure I think it will be better to re-connect the flat cable to CIS unit first.
