The Vtech 6041 cordless phone does not have onboard voice mail or an answering system. The voicemail must be from your telephone service provider , contact your service provider for your password.

115 is the port the voice mail is on. The prompt is "enter password then #". The password is your voice mail password from the extension you're calling from. If you are trying to get your messages from another phone, press #6 * and your extension. It will then ask you for your password to your voice mail.
There are FOUR system manuals and TWO manuals for the TVA or TVS voice mail system. None of them say 7731 on the face of them, so post back with you KSU and Voice mail models.
put your voice mail number in voice mail settings or you can dial directly your vc number to listen your voice mails,if you dont know your voice mail number then ask your network operator for number

extensions use. 1020000 for 3 digit and 10020000 for 4 digit, 120000 for 2
digit. go through the screens
Mailboxes, modify, scroll to password and press
change. Will reset to 0000.
To retrieve your voice mail from another phone, dial your number, once the voice mail prompts, enter " * " **STAR**
it will ask for your password, enter it, and away you go....

The short version of getting to your greeting is:
Feature 981 or open voicemail key
your password
"8"for admin
"2" for greetings
"1" for record
"1" for primary greeting
"'1" to record your greeting
at the tone record your greeting
"#" to end recording
after you record press 1 to listen 2 to retry or # to accept
press "rls" key when finished

ACCORDING TO THE MODEL NUMBER THIS PHONE DOES NOT HAVE AN ANSWERING DEVICE. IF YOU HAVE VOICEMAIL - YOU MUST HAVE THE PHONE COMPANY'S SERVICE FOR VOICE MAIL. IF YOU HAVE A STUTTERED DIALTONE WHEN YOU HAVE MESSAGES THEN IT PROBABLY COMES FROM YOUR TELEPHONE COMPANY. CALL THE PHONE COMPANY AND ASK FOR INSTRUCTIONS TO CHANGE THE GREETING ON VOICEMAIL.
