I have a whirlpool Super Capacity 465 self cleaning oven with accubake. About a month ago after using the oven to bake dinner the keypad button(s) became stuck (i figured this out after researching the error code online) this has been remedied, but in the mean time I pushed and held the start button th lock the door by accident while working on the former issue, and now my oven door is stuck in the safety lock position, and I don't know how to release this feature. Help??? Oh also, I am able to use the bake, broil controls without issue, the door is just locked and therefore wont open. However when I try the self cleaning feature, I get the E1F5 error code, I assume that since the door is already locked it is thinking that it cant lock the door to self clean.

In an attempt to self clean my oven, I pushed the auto clean button and then pressed start. Instead, nothing happened, but now have a message on the panel reading E1on the left side of panel and -F5- on the right side of panel. I am unable to clear it or operate the oven now.

What do you mean that it wont stay on? Does it turn off and on during cooking? Does it just go off and wont come back on? The oven thermostat regulates the heat in the oven and the oven element and the oven indicator light will turn off and on during cooking. If it stayed on constantly on full oven element power everything would burn.
